Happy New Year 2008

Happy New Year everyone! Let's start a brand new year with new resolutions. I'd like to wish all of you to have a great year ahead in 2008. Time flies and I'm a year older now. Stepping into the world of 22 aint fun. Perhaps I would not admit that I'm 22 this year. Coz I just celebrated my 21st birthday! How can I tell that I'm not 22 huh?? hehhe..

My countdown for year 2008 was in Genting. Went there with the boyfriend, Robert, Delia and Alex. It was sort of family gathering there. The boyfriend's whole big group of family is there for the countdown. And we even meet up with WeiJen in the casino. Oh I'm proud to enter the casino without feeling nervous..hahha! In fact no one checked on me yesterday. Hmm..

We were in the casino til almost 4am and we went to tapao Burger King and KFC back to the room. Then 5 of us chit chat til almost 6am. They were laughing at each other's pasts..and we even goss:p bout so and so. We woke up at around 2pm today, headed for dim sum and bak kut teh and entered into the casino again to gamble for their last few rounds of roulette. Meanwhile I wasted RM10 to play the jackpot machine. Ahh..it's a waste of money. I never win before. Last night I taught Delia to play the Keno. It's something like Bingo. And we both lost as well..hahha!
Moral of the story: Do not gamble!

I've came across an article in Marie Claire stating that the possibility of winning in any gambling is even slimmer that being attacked by terrorists. Gambling is the silent killer that robbed away our money silently..is it true right? In the casino, you dont even realised how fast time passed and how much your money are gone within few rounds of game. I never like my boyfriend to gamble, although it's for leisure. A no means no..leisure in gambling will turn into nightmare!

What bout your New Year Eve celebration? I'm sure it is also a blast one right?

Actually I've got lots and lots of photos to post up..but it's the time problem...hehhe! I've already resized all the photos just now and I guess uploading it in xanga will be very soon. Previously the photos taken in Indonesia was in 5M size, and I managed to resize all today, including the photos taken during Alex's sis wedding on Sunday.

The wedding dinner will be held this coming Sunday. I've got a dress for the dinner, and heels as well. But I've not idea where to go for make-up and hair-do. It's ok..I still have time. Oops..I just remembered me and Delia were planning to go Bangsar today for shopping..but now both of us has forgotten! She said there's this boutique that sells many nice dresses. So I thought of giving myself a chance to do some small shopping after the hardwork done for a week.

Looking Back Year2007

I hope I could recall what I've did for the entire year..hehhe! I'll list down some of the great things that I've done and also those sweet memories..hehhe!

Holidays - I'm lucky enough that I travelled to few places in a year. (Jan) Hong Kong, (Feb) Thailand - Au Nang beach, Krabi, Hatyai, PhiPhi, (Apr) Redang, (Jun) Singapore, (Sept) Sipadan, (Oct) Bangkok, and (Dec) Indonesia - Medan and Jakarta. Those are the major towns that I remembered..hehhe!

Academic - I've graduated my Bachelor of Degree in Finance and Marketing in University Technology of Sydney, finishing it locally in Taylor's Business School. I would say this is one of the proud achievement in my academic.

Events - I'm proud to attend the MIM National Conference 2007 held in Mandarin Oriental Hotel. I forgot to blog on that..hahha! Dont worry I'll do so..with us are the big CEOs from big companies such as Public Bank, Genting Group, Royal Selangor, MAS, and many more. The best thing is we got to chat with Justin Leong..the grandson of the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong!

People - Meet with many new friends and I'd like to say thanks to those who had helped me throughout my tough journey and be there as my FRIENDS

Career - I would say I had done well in my part time career with Maxis as their SME agent. My hard work in it has taught me a lot in facing the working life in the future. Best of all..the hard work I've put in so far, has also helped me to top up my bank savings..hehhe! In 2008, I've decided to leave this job and to enter into the multilevel marketing. I find its income attractiveness can outweigh the income of working as Maxis agent. So why not give myself a chance? I'm giving myself 6 months to achieve the desired level in MLM..and now, which is already a month, I find myself doing well and has entered into the position which earns minimum of RM2k..why not give it a try right? ;) After the Chinese New Year, I'll spend most of my time in either Indonesia or Vietnam expanding the career. Wish me luck!

So far that's what I can think of for the year 2007. I think I'll add on more to the lists when I recalls k..it's time for dinner with Robert and Delia. New Year Dinner..hehhe! I hope all of you have your new year resolutions and may your dreams come true! Take care..
