El Cerdo, Changkat KL

All set ready for dinner at El Cerdo to celebrate Alex's birthday.

Before I know about this place, I only heard that there's this restaurant in KL where you gotta break the plate before eating the roasted pork. Heard of it for years but no idea where is it. One day when the hubby asked where shall we bring alex for his birthday dinner, then this place came into my mind.

Free bread. Not sure if we were hungry or what, the bread taste damn good! hahahha

Assorted sausages with salted vege underneath

Sauteed mushrooms

Pork ribs

Spanish kind of seafood rice

Here comes the roasted piglet.

The birthday boy is instructed on how to chop the roasted piglet with the plate.

The reason why he is using a plate to chop the piglet is actually to prove how crispy is the piglet and simply can be chopped into pieces by using a plate.

The next thing he has to do is to break the plate. Meaning all his bad luck will be thrown away.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Donutes, Puchong

Finally we visited Donutes in Puchong. Heard of it long time ago but didn't have the chance to try there. A friend said the queue is always long everyday and the breads are fantastic.

Tea time.

I have to admit I'm not a big fan of breads but it's really tasty! So many varieties to choose from.

Their coffee is good too. Big cup with reasonable price.

You would wanna buy everything off the rack because they are so tempting and really looks tasty. Worth to pay a visit!

If I were a kid....

First Day with Personal Trainer

I'm sold with the decision of getting a personal trainer after seeing the fantastic results in Fion.

She was engaged with a WillyTanFitness (yes WTF) for 3 months and now her body is so toned up and fit. I do workout by myself in Celebrity Fitness but I have no idea what I am doing in the gym all the while, either running on the treadmill or joining classes. That's it.

It took me quite some to decide where I should pay that much for a personal trainer. Do I really need it?

To me, the reason I engaged a trainer is for me to learn all the basics of working out, learn how to force myself to finish my sets and reps when there's someone looking and counting and also to stay fit and healthy. My training slot is at 9am, so perhaps I could be a morning person by the time I complete my 3 months training.

On the first day after training. Eat clean. Eat clean. Eat clean.

Sounds easy but the truth...hmmm

A pic of my fat body when I first joined personal trainer. Will post a before and after if I succeed k! LOL

I'd be more than happy if the fats on my tummy can go off and looks fit overall!

Eat clean first day went down to the drain after Munyi asked me for dinner at Rakuzen.

We shared the portions below, and then talk about fitness..hahhaha! Epic fail!

And this is how I felt the next day. I could barely move!

And my evil trainer telling me to enjoy my penguin walk day!

Kei Fei's Wedding

As usual when there's any weddings or events, I'll go to my stylist and she'll come up with any hairstyles that I want, or sometimes she will do anything that came up to her mind.

I washed my hair at home, and go to her for styling.

Tadah! Something messy this time.

Weddings is always a good time to catch up with a bunch of friends. The only time where we'll get to meet lots of them and have the time to chit chat. On other days everyone's busy working and hardly will get the chance to gather everyone at the same time.

Here's my uni friend from Taylors. Yin May. Cherri. Man Shin. Vern Li. And Manshin's friend.

This man loves to attend wedding dinners. For him, it brings back the good times of our own wedding.

The stunning bride, Keifei!

Us with BaoBao.

Irene Teng and her hubby. Newly wed too. Too bad we couldn't make it to each others wedding coz its on the same lunar month, which is a pantang to most Chinese.

The Gardens Residences, Mid Valley

I was out of my mind today. Quarrelled with the hubby and got mad at him over small matter actually. I was so angry and I kinda like "ran away from home"..LOL!

I drove out and no idea where shall I go. Driving back to Penang is a distance and it's already 8pm. So I decided to stay in a hotel in KL where I get to rest, relax, eat, sleep and shop.

I went to agora to search for the best hotel in town and after many choices, I decided to stay in The Gardens Hotel & Residences. One. Coz it's connected to Mid Valley Mall and The Gardens, so anytime I can just walk down for shopping. Two. It's a happening place, no one will kidnap me or whatsoever. Three. It's a premium hotel, so not that eerrieee coz I'm gonna sleep alone! LOL!

The rate is RM500 per night inclusive of breakfast.

Here's the beautiful room. So spacious!

I love the toilet most!

It was late and I didn't wanna walk down for dinner. So I ordered room service, without looking at the price or whatsoever, even the room rate, coz I'll definitely claim from the hubby all the expenses.

Nasi lemak kampung. It is so delicious and cost only less than RM20!

After dinner, I watched tv all night long, chat with my girlfriends in whatsapp about whats going with me and where am i, just in case if someone kidnap or rape me, at least someone knows my location. LOL! Wanna run away from home sumore wanna scared right? >.<

Breakfast overlooking the KL city.

After breakfast, decided to have my fun bath time with jazz songs being played. What a wonderful life!

Room service again for tea time. Fish and chips. Not that nice, so so only.

Thank god I brought my Crazy Rich Asians to kill time.

The hubby kept calling on the first day but I didn't answer. On the second day, after all the activities, finally got bored, and I started entertaining him. I gave him to chance to come to my hotel and make him settle my bills..hahaha!

Allowed him to stay with me for the last night in The Gardens Hotel. And he was surprised when he entered the room, amazed with the luxurious room. And he said,"Wah I have to pay more than RM1k to stay for ONE night here!" LOL! We ROFL and the became friends again!

Sounds childish I know. But now we will laugh over it whenever we are in The Gardens for shopping. I love you dear! muacks
