Singapore Part II

Here goes my Day 3 in Singapore.

We were supposed to wake up as early as we could so that we'll have more time for shopping, but in the end all of us woke up at 11am. By the time we get out it was already 1pm. I was so worried that I do not have enough time to shop at Bugis Street. We took bus to Tampines MRT station and then took the MRT to Bugis. It was quite far I think..almost half an hour in the MRT. I have to squad instead of standing.

We had lunch at Little Taiwan for its famous beef noodles.

Then my sis wanted to bring us to another mall but I insisted on going Bugis Street. Hahah! My sis directed us to Bugis Street and she went to Jean Yip for hair wash.

I know I'm fat! I realized when I got fatter, my skin tends to be fairer. Is that true?! Hahah! But thanks to the diarrhea that visited me for the past 3 days. I had diarrhea continuously for like 2 days, stopped for a day and it came back last night. So I'm quite happy in a way that it helps me to slim down, but hate it because I'm so weak and tired all day. So it's that kind of love and hate feelings.

The clothes in Bugis St are so damn cheap. Mostly are SGD10 or 15 and they're quite nice already. But you have to choose the materials. Some materials are those cheap type of material, it's not comfy and plastic type of feel. And you dont get to try them on. Mostly are free size.

Usually when I visit any flea market or pasar malam, I'll wear a baby T and shorts so it's easier for me to put on the clothes. At least no need mafan go look for toilet or any changing room, if the seller allows us to try on.

And this stall selling steam and toast bread. Initially I didnt wanna try, coz it doesnt look tempting to me. But the boyfriend hold the steam bread close to my mouth and I have to try. After the first mouth, I decided to go for second bite and at last made my decision to try their roti pranta with sausage. It's so delicious!

See so many people queue for the bread. Another version of toast box.

To my surprise, I didnt buy as much as I expected I will. I decided to use SGD200 for shopping in Bugis Street and then I realized there's nothing much I could buy. In the end I grabbed 6 items inclusive of dresses and tops. Spent around SGD100. Worth it!

Maybe I was too tired to continue shopping. The shopping mood was turned off already, and I have no energy to continue walking. We ended up in Ah Chew Desserts.

Another recommendation from my sis. She said must try the mango desserts.

I'm not a big fan of desserts because I find them too sweet. I know desserts are meant to be sweet! But just not my type of food..heheh! Few mouth still okay lar..

This is Ah Chew's signature desserts.

After desserts, we shopped a while in Bugis Junction and headed home to start packing.

I'd like to thank my 3 days tour guide, Ms Yong Qian Hwei a.k.a my sis, for bringing us for good food making both of us so damn fat! And also thanks for the meal we had in Crystal Jade as my bday treat!

Singapore Part I

For those who followed me in twitter, knows that I was in Singapore for the last weekends right?

It was a last minute decision to go singapore, where we decided around lunch time and bought our bus ticket and headed straight to singapore around 5.30pm. So random huh.

The boyfriend did asked me wanna go or not a week earlier and I didnt make any decision. Later he also said that we shouldnt go since a downline of mine promoting to Crown President this month so we totally forgot about the plan to singapore until Alex reminded him. In the car he was telling me that the group of friends should have reached singapore already (it was lunch time).

And me being the shopaholic was quite tempted to go for shopping, but his reason was to join his friends for Zoukout.

Without delayed we went home, booked the tics via online, packed, i managed to take a nap, and later his sis sent us to the Aeroline terminal. So Singapore here I come! ;)

We reached there about 11pm but couldnt head to Sentosa with our luggage. So we took a cab to Tampines, my sister's place to leave everything there and get changed. Bugged my sis to join us too..she ended up going with us after saying no no for so long. We reached Zoukout around 2am and that is so late right..hahhha!

I'll blog about Zoukout in another entry k coz I dont know where the bf keeps my SD card.

Day 2

Shopping day at Orchard Road. My sister was working so we have to layan ourselves on this day. I woke up at 11am and by the time I got ready was already 2pm. The bf was starving like mad..lol!

We had lunch in Takashimaya and started our shopping at the few huge malls around that area.

Sales everywhere and you can see the crowds are crazy, Sunday maybe. I never like shopping on weekends especially when you have to wait so damn long to get the fitting room.

All the branded stores look like as if they are giving away free bags, or giving 70% discounts. Especially LV. And Gucci worst..looks like Charles & Keith sales to me! LOL..

I Christmas. I wished to be in Singapore on Christmas Day to join in the celebration. Maybe I should put this plan into my 2010 diary. LOL!

Took few shots and this candid shot is the best! Wtf.

No potential to become a model la.

At least he's better than me..hahah!

I always complaint at every pic of mine - either fat or not nice.

As you can see, there's a door to enter into that Christmas tree and here's how it looks like inside.

IMG_0735

It was much darker but I photoshop the brightness and contrast. Dont look so bad now. Heheh! I'm trying to improve on my PS skills, so please bear with me!

I like this!

While waiting for in the queue to get into LV, we camwhored. How I wished KL has similar Orchard Road. Orchard Road vs Bukit Bintang? Noway mann! Bukit Bintang gonna turn into Mat Rempits area very very soon..hahah!

I'm targeting on so many bags from LV! I realized I'm so greedy.

I want Monogram Palermo GM and Galliera GM, Damier Ebene Neverfull GM and Trevi GM only. Oh and also Mahina XL.

Can I have it ALL? :|

Only if my husband owns LV..

Hardly you can hear me surrender from shopping, but I did after 5 hours of non-stop walking in Orchard Rd. I couldnt walk anymore as my feet starts to give me warning.

We stopped at Bakerzin to have a drink while waiting for my sis to come meet us.

I'd like to dedicate to entry to my bestie Miss Tan Wei Lee! I'm so happy I managed to get through you at 11.50pm and chat all the way til after 12am..hehhe!

And the most coincident thing is that we both were in Hard Rock Cafe, except that u're in Penang's Hard Rock and i'm in KL's.  That''s fate! LOL!

IMG_5842

I found this photo in my computer and realized time flies. It's been a year already since we last celebrated your birthday in Damansara Village steamboat, remember? With Alex, Leslie and my sis. So fast we're another year older. But I'm still glad that at least I'm 9 days younger than you..hahhha!

DSC01308

We've known each other since Standard 6 i guess and it's been 11 years! I truly appreciate our friendship for all these years. I miss those times when we were in secondary school, sitting next to each other every year and how we quarreled at times..hehhee! And we can chat on the phone like as if our dad owns Telekom Malaysia. We were always on the phone until our parents start to nag and we'll say,"eh my mum/dad scold d..dont wanna talk liao..byeeee!" I miss that!

DSC02447

In school, you're the pengawas and I'm the naughty student, but it's good to have a pengawas friend because you will tell us when the discipline teacher gonna have spot check! At least we're lucky to have you to "jaga air"..hehehhe! I also miss the time when we must always eat before 7.30am in the canteen, and break time our chicken wings and keropok lekor..hahahaha that's so fun mann!

IMG_8299

We were so crazy when we were teenagers..I smile to myself when I'm typing this..hahahha! I remember how sad we were when we gonna be apart for college. I gotta leave to KL and so reluctant to go. We spent hours on the phone talking non-stop. I'm lucky to have you when I have problems or get mad at my boyfriends..hehhe!

And now we're grown up already reaching the age of 23..having our own career and love life. Time really flies and with a blink of eyes our friends are getting married. Very soon it's gonna be ours! I cannot imagine when we have our own families and get older and older..omg! Dont imagine! CUT THIS PART! Hahahah..

I hope you enjoy yourself on your big day and love you lots! ♥
