PHUKET

Hello I know it's been quite some time I last blogged. I just resized all the photos taken in Phuket few days ago, uploaded them in flickr, but couldnt find the time to blog about it.

DAY 1

This is my first time going for vacation on the second day of chinese new year. The last time I joined my dad to this yearly trip was like 2 years back. Every year he will join his friends in the family trip to Thailand but different places every year. They will usually drive in and it's like more than 10 cars in a trip.

Last 2 years I joined to Au Nang and Phi Phi Island. This year we're going Surat Thani, Phuket and Aorai.

This time the journey is quite far. From my place to Surat Thani is about 450km.

Oh ya another news to update here. The boyfriend entered into Thailand without passport!!! He forgotten to bring back and it was 1am when he realized that. He's now pendatang asing di Thailand. Hehehhe!

This is our hotel in Surat Thani. Only 400 baht!

We had dinner in a restaurant by the river bank. It's something like Bukit Tambun, but Thai food. We wanted to sit by the river bank but it was fully occupied. So we had to sit inside.

The food was awesome except that it's too spicy. I couldnt continue other dishes after tasting the tomyam and pork's leg spicy soup. My tongue got burnt and I kept on drinking water until I'm full.

And guess what?! The total bill for all these delicious dishes is only 610baht!! Which is approximately RM61 only! Damn cheap la..if it's in KL, the fish itself gonna cost ard 60 d.

DAY 2

Had breakfast and then continued our journey to Ranong. The journey to Ranong is really sickening, you have to pass hills and mountains with so many turnings.

We stopped by at this roadside stall selling somtam. Our initial intention was to look for toilet, but everyone ended up trying her somtam. It was delicious I tell you. Maybe everyone's sharing the same plate of somtam, that's what makes the food taste better..the merrier the better!

Is my photography skills improving? LOL. The bf is slowly into photography and he might get the 18mm-200mm lens. I want I want I want!

We finally reached this small city, which I forgot what's the name, after 4-5 hours journey. It is the border between Thailand and Burma.

Duck noodles for lunch.

And this is what my boyfriend did, while we were waiting for our hotel arrangement.

Soon after that everyone got down from the car and joined both of them. The little boy got more excited with his presentation. He even brought out his little dumb bells to show how strong he is..hahah!

And before we left the place, everyone gave him some coins and notes. He was so HAPPY! You can see the big grin on his face.

Finally this is our accommodation for the second night. Surprisingly there was no visitors at all in this chalet. The entire place is owned by a young couple, with a beautiful daughter.

We were so lucky to catch the beautiful sunset.

I love this photo the most! He said this pic could be used in our wedding slideshow..LOL!

This is the chalet owner's daughter. Is she lovely? At first she was shy to play with us, but after a while she was so damn active. In the end of the day, she didnt wanna go home with her parents.

DAY 3

Ready to go to this island called Aow Yai. I was very grumpy on this day. The weather was extremely hot.

I dont know why we must take the small boat to go to Aow Yai island. We were in the small wooden boat for like 2 hours and it was freaking hot!

I rather pay more for the speed boat. The sampan is damn slow I tell you. We took 2 hours to reach there. If by speedboat, it's only 30 minutes. I was complaining all the way to and fro.

Wasn't in the mood to take any photos also. Thats why you can see I only have few photos taken before reaching Aow Yai. My mood and temper was bad when we arrived at the boring island.

DAY 4

I was excited coz we are driving to Patong Beach, Phuket! Phuket is the place that attracted me to join my dad in this trip. Phuket is the main place I wanna go! :)

On our way to Phuket, we passed by this White Sand Beach at Khao Lak. The beach is so beautiful and clean. Lotsa ang mohs had their vacations here and in fact the whole place is filled with ang mohs ONLY. Not much of entertainment but it's peace and calm.

My ubercool Dad.

We reached Phuket around 6pm and Dad started to lead the way. He is very familiar with places in Phuket coz he's always here with the bikers team.

In Phuket, Dad and the rest stayed at the hillside chalets while me and the bf stayed in the happening city of Phuket, Patong Beach.

I'd prefer nightlife entertainments with lotsa hot Thai chicks and ah-kuas

Dinner time. Dad brought us to a market, in a fishermen village, where all the seafood are so fresh and cheap! You can choose whatever seafood you love, and then get the restaurant to cook it.

This fish is only RM7!

Here come the nightlife in Patong Beach. The city is so damn happening and I'm in love with the performances and entertainments. I am also amuzed! LOL!

Next to the Big Buddha Temple. It is still under renovation and it's going to be the world largest Buddha statue.

Me and sis was wearing too sexy, and before we entered the temple, the authorities make us cover ourselves with this..hahah!

Dinner time. I've been taking tomyam for like 3 meals a day for 5 days!
And on the day we reached home, I had Thai food again with cousins and aunts. Since that I did not have Thai food until today.

Shopping at Patong Beach. We even went to their Thaigirl show that night. It was such a gross to see the woman putting turtles in her p*ssy, smoke 2 cigarettes and etc using her p*ssy. Eeeuu!

I love this Hello Kitty shop! Wanted to buy the Hello Kitty cover for my Blackberry but it was out of stock for Curve 8900. =(

I want the laptop bag also! I regretted for not buying it.

IMG_3258

And my biggest disappointment is we didnt have the time to rent a bike. I've been telling him how I'd wish to go round the city with this vintage bike. I will definitely go back to Phuket!

IMG_3201

Okay it's a long entry for today. Photos do the talking..it's 5.30pm now. I'm going to meet Sin Yi for dinner at 7pm.

=)
