The Bridegroom in Cineleisure

We had a drink at Empress Cafe right opposite of Laundry Bar last Saturday. After chatting and laughing, then we saw a team of people, some with video camera and some with DSLRs, standing in the middle of the cafe.

And one guy caught my attention!

Which is the guy in black suit, dressing as if he's the bridegroom. And the funny thing is he combed his hair like the guy in 70s and wore a thick black frame glasses. I was curious wondering what he's gonna do going from tables to tables.

Then I noticed the paper he carries with him..flashing to every tables.

"GETTING MARRIED. NEED MONEY (CREDIT CRUNCH). RM2 FOR A PACKET!"



He went from tables to tables selling tissues for RM2! That's so damn expensive right?! The girl beside our table was yelling at the poor bridegroom telling him that the Tesco tissues costs not more than 20 cents and now he's selling them at RM2. Hahha!

Finally he came to our table. We were prepared to question him actually. We wanna know why he's doing that. Trying to con ppl's money at this economic downturn or what?!

"Eh why are you selling tissues? Really getting married ar? Show me your wife first."

He took out his handphone and showed us his wife. Hmm she's in her wedding dress. Okay he passed that question.

"Why didnt you work hard before this if u know u're getting married?!"

He answered, "No lah..no lah!"

We questioned him a lot of things and he gave us his name card when we asked for his contacts, because we teased him that we wanted to attend his wedding.

And upon looking at his name card, we were surprised that he's the executive director of a media/advertising company! Hahhaha...



I'm sure this is a request from his wife or the bridesmaids. Poor guy. Getting married these days are tough, especially when you wanna proposed to the girl. Billboards..or in the public..and etc, creativity must be there.

In order to support him and make sure he finished his job early, we bought 3 packets of tissues from him. RM6 for the 3 packets of RM0.20 tissues! LOL..



I hope he enjoys the entire pre-wedding preparation. Congrats anyway! ;)

Hari Ini Panas Gila!

What's going on with the weather in Malaysia?

I told the boyfriend that I'd rather die in winter rather than summer..hahha!

And he said," No it's better to die in summer. I think you're crazy!"

I'm not crazy okay. I really couldnt stand with the heat today. I'm not sure what's the temperature but I know the sun's burning my skin. I realized I'm a bit tanned now. From tomorrow onwards I'm gonna wear long sleeve shirts out. Hmm of course those cooling long sleeve shirts!

The boyfriend and I attended the seminar conducted by Success Resources, talking about Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, principles and his teachings. After that they introduced the coming seminar where Robert Kiyosaki and his team will be in Malaysia giving the talk. An opportunity to learn but I guess the seminar fees is way too expensive. They have budget seats but tak syiok aredi lah..hehhe!

Next at the Fashion on 1 fashion show.




Then we had dinner in Dragon-i, The Curve together with GeeChang and KarShek. I love to have the typical Chinese cuisines for dinner. Instead of Western food. I'm not a big fan of western food actually.

I know it's gonna be tempting..hehhe! I'm going to Dragon-i again for their RM1 chicken! Whole chicken for only RM1 okay..and they only have 100 chickens to give away. Go try people!

Carrot & Her Tarot

I'm sure all of you heard of tarot cards right? I've always heard of it but unsure how true was that until my friend, so-called fortune tell, a.k.a Ms Carrot Teh showed us the game. Me, Weilee and my grandmum were her customers. I named her Carrot Teh because the name has the rhyme of Tarot..hahha!

It was quite true actually. Not sure how accurate it's gonna be until 3 months later. Based on the cards, she refers back to the past, current and future situations. Ermm..my grandmum said it's 50% true about her. I think mine is about 70% true la..hehhe!

It was fun actually, something like the Visiber calculation. I love to hear from fortune teller but not believing them completely. Just listen for fun and take it as an entertainment..ahhaha!

We had great night celebrating her birthday at Bukit Tambun seafood. Weilee, Joyce and myself. Finally 3 of us get to spend time together again like when we were in Langkawi two years go. We flashed back our Langkawi trip and laughed at one silly thing we did in the hotel..hahahha! We're planning for another trip this year. Most probably it's gonna be Singapore for the "Cheapoholics Project"..hehe!

After our seafood dinner, we went Old Town, Auto City and camwhored there. Until the people in Old Town looked at us wondering what were these 3 girls doing. LOL!

I cant explain more now until I get back to KL, resize those photos and post them here. You'll know what we did by then..lol!

And now presenting the stupid, silly and weird actions that we did in Old Town. We put the DSLR on continuous shooting mode and 3 of us posed stupidly in front of the camera. Everyone around Old Town were looking as us, esp when we on the flash. Imagine 10 flashes at once..lol!

No Anniversaries..

I'm gonna shout out right now!

I wanna complain bout my boyfriend! For not remembering our 4th Anniversaries. How can he forget?! And I hate him because he dont tend to remember the important dates except my birthday. Other than that, there's no such things as anniversaries or etc.

I dont remember anything he did on 15th April every year. In order to confirm my statement, I checked back the history in my xanga posts for 15th April every year and I dont find myself blogging about my anniversaries. Wtf! I even hint him a week ago bout our 4th anniversary and today he did nothing. I was so angry.

And he doesnt know why I'm angry!!!!! That's what makes me MORE ANGRY OKAY!

Sigh! Boyfriends are never perfect. Somehow they do have weaknesses, I know nobody's perfect. But not even an anniversary celebration?! How can that be? I'm going back Penang this Friday. At least he should do something to make me happy right?! I'm just too angry to blog about it now.

Not gonna mention bout it anymore. Assume there's no anniversaries in this world. I can only envy those couples celebrating anniversaries together! Hmmpf!



I hope he reads this entry and knows why I didnt talk to him today.

Something for Mummies

My sis sent me this forwarded mail on baby care. I laughed all the way scrolling down the whole mail and get the boyfriend to laugh with me..hahha! I told me I'd be doing most of the "yes" and he will definitely do the "no".
















So funny right?! I wouldn't imagine a mum doing most of the "no" actions.

I just cleared the rubbish on my dressing table. Bought a small drawers rack to store all my things displayed messily on the table. Now it's more organized. First drawer, I placed my hair pins and earrings/necklaces in it. Second drawer, all my loose powders and foundations. Third drawer, Skin79 items and some skin care. Last drawer, fake lashes and nail lacquer. At least everything are stored in the drawers which makes the dressing table looks more neat than before ;)

Anyway I'm getting used to blogspot now. I find uploading photos to flickr and post em here is much faster and the quality is so much better than xanga. Gonna fall in love with blogspot soon..hahha!

But I'm not sure my loyal readers from xanga knows I'm here. If you're reading my blog, would you please drop me a message?! At least I know I have my readers here..hehheeh!

Velvet Underground

Yesterday was like the flash back of our yesteryears where clubbing became one of the essential activities every weekends. But the culture was paused for some time when some friends went over to Sydney and started working. Especially us. It's been quite some time since we went clubbing. I think it was on Valentine's Day, the last time to Zouk.

The clubbing was planned for Kar Shek's birthday, where we celebrate earlier than his actual date. Around 20 of us were at Velvet Underground. It was a disappointment to be in Velvet coz the songs are boring compared to Phuture. We made the reservation at the last minute, Phuture was fully booked. We got tables in Velvet and tried to party in Phuture, but the crowd was really shocking mann! You cant even breathe there. The staffs told Weijen that last night was the most crowded night among other days.




We bought 4 bottles but only drank two..the balance were kept there. You know what? The queue to enter Zouk indescribable. I should've taken a pic of the super long queue.

I didnt know the ceiling the VIP seats are so beautifully designed. It's so colourful! I love colours. Didnt notice the effects until the camera flash were shooting towards the ceiling. And we started playing with it..hahha!



I hate my boyfriend when he drinks. Because he always falls asleep after drinking and I have to drive all the way back home without having anyone to talk to me. I got even frustrated when I cant recognized the way back and he's sleeping like nobody's business beside me.



Anyhow I still love him! LOL..




I have fake eyelashes on that night. Bought it in Korea. I think I'm getting more familiar to putting fake eyelashes..hehhe!



Just to show off my red stilettos! Bought quite some time already but havent got the chance to launch it. Finally I paired it off with my white dress to Velvet.

As usual, after Velvet, we had teo chew porridge nearby Pudu jail. Some of us mentioned that this is the college people's gathering after so long we didnt club together.
