We were supposed to wake up as early as we could so that we'll have more time for shopping, but in the end all of us woke up at 11am. By the time we get out it was already 1pm. I was so worried that I do not have enough time to shop at Bugis Street. We took bus to Tampines MRT station and then took the MRT to Bugis. It was quite far I think..almost half an hour in the MRT. I have to squad instead of standing.
We had lunch at Little Taiwan for its famous beef noodles.
Then my sis wanted to bring us to another mall but I insisted on going Bugis Street. Hahah! My sis directed us to Bugis Street and she went to Jean Yip for hair wash.
I know I'm fat! I realized when I got fatter, my skin tends to be fairer. Is that true?! Hahah! But thanks to the diarrhea that visited me for the past 3 days. I had diarrhea continuously for like 2 days, stopped for a day and it came back last night. So I'm quite happy in a way that it helps me to slim down, but hate it because I'm so weak and tired all day. So it's that kind of love and hate feelings.
The clothes in Bugis St are so damn cheap. Mostly are SGD10 or 15 and they're quite nice already. But you have to choose the materials. Some materials are those cheap type of material, it's not comfy and plastic type of feel. And you dont get to try them on. Mostly are free size.
Usually when I visit any flea market or pasar malam, I'll wear a baby T and shorts so it's easier for me to put on the clothes. At least no need mafan go look for toilet or any changing room, if the seller allows us to try on.
And this stall selling steam and toast bread. Initially I didnt wanna try, coz it doesnt look tempting to me. But the boyfriend hold the steam bread close to my mouth and I have to try. After the first mouth, I decided to go for second bite and at last made my decision to try their roti pranta with sausage. It's so delicious!
See so many people queue for the bread. Another version of toast box.
To my surprise, I didnt buy as much as I expected I will. I decided to use SGD200 for shopping in Bugis Street and then I realized there's nothing much I could buy. In the end I grabbed 6 items inclusive of dresses and tops. Spent around SGD100. Worth it!
Maybe I was too tired to continue shopping. The shopping mood was turned off already, and I have no energy to continue walking. We ended up in Ah Chew Desserts.
Another recommendation from my sis. She said must try the mango desserts.
I'm not a big fan of desserts because I find them too sweet. I know desserts are meant to be sweet! But just not my type of food..heheh! Few mouth still okay lar..
This is Ah Chew's signature desserts.
After desserts, we shopped a while in Bugis Junction and headed home to start packing.
I'd like to thank my 3 days tour guide, Ms Yong Qian Hwei a.k.a my sis, for bringing us for good food making both of us so damn fat! And also thanks for the meal we had in Crystal Jade as my bday treat!
Love you lots! Muah!
