"Zero" From Shopping

So..yah I got nothing from shopping today. In fact there's nothing that I'd like to buy except for some cool jackets or sweaters. I woke up quite early this morning for the sake of going shopping. Usually I woke up around 1pm on Sundays. Except for today. I'll be going back to Penang tomorrow so this is my last day for shopping. The boyfriend went for coaching early in the morning and gave me morning call around 9pm. I was supposed to reach his courts around 10am for breakfast but I was late. I snooze the alarm and headed back to sleep, only awake at around 9.30am when I realized I was damn late okay!

Quickly I took my bath and had basic makeups on. I was in a hurry coz the boyfriend said we can have breakfast til 11am only and he'll need to guide his students again. So I promised him that I'll be on time but I wasnt..hahha! Rushed out of the home and I forgot bout my handphones!! How can I leave home without my handphones?!! It's okay if I'm without money but never without handphones!! How am I gonna call if there's any emergency or what-so-ever case..

I reached his court and he left already. So I borrowed his sis hp to call him. Luckily he wasnt out for breakfast..he went to tapao breakfast for his sis and Jeffrey. Then he'll be back and accompany me for dinner. Hmm how sweet he was without screwing me of being late huh! So we had breakfast at Prince Cafe. We both had American breakfast but frankly speaking..it sucks! That's the worst American breakfast I've ever had. I can even cook better than that okay! LOL..And I started playing with the leftover food..




Shh dont say a thing! I know it's rude to play with food. I only do that once in a blue moon okay. I told the boyfriend that if I were to prepare him breakfast, I'll definitely do nice designs on the ham! LOL! And he joined me playing but putting some chilli sauce into the love. Cool!

Okay after breakfast I went to get some magazines to flip while waiting for him to finish coaching. I was supposed to go shopping by myself but he was kind enough to accompany me, so I patiently waited for him to finish his badminton games.

We headed to Sunway Pyramid around 1pm and I was hunting for the prefect and cool jacket/sweater. I have few but I guess it's time to get a new one. I hardly spend on jackets so it's time for it now. So far there's only 2 in my list. One from MNG and another from Esprit. Met Farah Nabila in MNG. She told me bout the Zara sales. Hmm I'm hoping that tomorrow I still have some time for shopping while waiting for the car to get tinted. Next we headed all the way to Cheras Queenspark to search in MNG and Esprit outlets, but I was in big disappointment coz I cant find any jackets. I know it's spring season now and hardly I can find winter clothes.

Anyway I came across Bobbi Brown's Bright Collections in CLEO. I love the eyeshadow palette so much! 35 colours in it and it costs around RM230 (if I'm not mistaken)..




I love colours!! Will check it out in Gurney Plaza..;) In fact the size of the palette is kinda mini..perfectly suitable for traveling purposes.

Okay I need to sleep now. We'll be going down to KL town early in the morning because the boyfriend wanna get company name registration done before driving back to Penang. And also to get the car screen tinted. The weather is crazy nowadays! My flu has attacked my nose to be blocked for almost a week already. I have difficulty in breathing through my nose..it's pathetic! It's fine if only one side of the nose is blocked..worst thing is that both are blocked!! Ish..!

Northern Award Presentation

It was the region annual award presentation. Everyone's asking me what event did I attend where I had so much of makeup on my face and also the body art. And people commented that I had nice body tattoo. Tattoo?! Maybe the pic in msn is too small, making it looks like a tattoo. I know I looked kinda kua cheong but when you're in the event then there's nothing to be weird of. But it's fun to attend these kinda dinners, especially gala dinners or masquerade dinners. I havent attend any masquerade dinner before..hoping to attend one! LOL

The event was held in Bukit Jawi Golf Club Resort on the 7th Feb. Nothing much to describe..let the photos do the talking! ehhee..

It took half a day to get all the preparation. From 1pm I was at the hair saloon to get my hair done. The aunty took around 3 hours to complete the hair setting..okay 4pm. Then Maggie started to do the body art until almost 6pm! Gosh I was supposed to reach Bkt Jawi around 6.30pm but I was late already. The makeup was done around 6.30pm and we rushed to Bukit Jawi..reached there around 7.30pm! wtf. Luckily the event havent started..otherwise I'm dead..hahha!

Charity Dinner @ Bukit Kiara

The boyfriend owns the sport shop at Bukit Kiara Golf Club and the organiser invited him to the charity dinner. Of course he gotta purchase the tickets from him as part of charity. The bf donated RM600 and were given 6 tickets for the dinner.

The theme was "Dance The Sixties With Sunglasses"!

I didnt know anything bout the theme until we got ready to go for the dinner. The boyfriend came back to pick me and he said my dress fits the sixties theme. I was like..huh?! What sixties theme? Then only he mentioned bout it. Luckily I didnt wear the dress more to the beach-type-of-look..hahha!

But not everyone there were in sixties outfit. Just that they put on their sunglasses..which I find it quite funny! LOL having dinner with sunglasses on?!!

My Makeups

I've been reading beauty blogs since last night till today. Including makeups, beauty products, tips and everything! Shit I'm obsessed with makeup/beauty products again. I've been sitting in front of the laptop almost the entire day exploring beauty products. Read blogs and product reviews on hot selling items.

Especially BB creams. Although it was released for quite some time already but it's kinda new in Malaysia. I only came across SkinFood BB Cream and now other brands like Elianto or FaceShop or others releasing it. So far the famous ones are like Skin79, Dr Jart+, SkinFood, BRTC, Hanskin, Missha, Shills, and others. I bought the SkinFood Aloe BB Cream in Queensbay two weeks ago after reading the product reviews from a beauty blog.


SkinFood Aloe Vera BB Cream

Actually I've stopped using foundation for almost half a year already. I minimized foundation usage because I did not want my pores to get worst since I have large pores. Worst still is that my blackheads are filing up all my pores. That's terrible. Apparently without the usage of foundation, my skin gets better a lot. But now when I came across BB Cream, I cant stop myself from trying it. I have the one from SkinFood but I dare not to use it everyday. Only on certain occassions.

Few days ago I bought the Skin79 Blemish Balm from a shop in MidValley. RM20 for the sample size. No harm trying. And I find it much better than SkinFood. In terms of the coverage and radiant glow on the skin! So Skin79 is in my shopping list for Korea trip!



Yes I'm going Korea this early March. BB Creams,Masks, Makeups, Skincare..anyone??

I'm searching for best selling items from Korea before my trip so that I know what to buy when I'm there. Furthermore I dont have much free and easy time shopping around coz it's a company trip. Let me know if you came across anything which is good from Korea. My aunt asked me to get her toothpaste from Korea! Hahha..she said the toothpaste there are special, because they come in a variety of colours and some are like scrubs-texture. That's cool!


I was so bored this evening when I decided to reveal out the makeup products I'm currently using.




Where shall I start?Okay skincare first.

Face

I was using few brands of skincare previously. I mix here n there depending on which are the best selling item for each range like for cleansing oil I choose Shu Uemura, toner from Clinique, mosturizer from Clinique, pore refining cream from SK-II and etc. Since our company has launched its own skincare range, Izumi, on the 26th Jan 09, so I decided to use the entire range to see the effects on my skin before I can actually start selling it.



Here's the entire range of Izumi which consists of Cleansing Solution, Revive Gel, Spring Toner, Ocean Serum and Water Gel. It is suitable for all types of skin. This set really does wonder on my skin especially its water gel, revive gel and ocean serum. And the whole range is only RM556! Value for money..

Every morning I cleanse my face with MD Formulation Cleanser, followed with the Izumi Spring Toner, and Water Gel.

Next I use Kose Ultra Sun Protector UV with SPF50. I know the SPF is relatively high, but I'm out for the whole day getting in and out of the car. So I really need higher SPF sunblock.



So far I love it best because its white watery texture wont make my skin feel sticky like other sunblocks. Good thing is that it controls oil quite well.

Sometimes I replaced Kose sunblock with Chanel Whitening Modeling Effect Base with SPF30.



The texture is thicker than Kose but it has shimmery effects on the skin. I use it as my makeup base also because it makes my skin glow especially at night! That's what I applied on my skin on normal days. If there's any occassions, then I'll put on foundation and loose powder.

I'm using Red Earth loose powder now. But Fion introduced me to Palgantong Theatrical Powder, so maybe I'll try that next. Here's how it looks like. I thought of asking my sis to get it for me in Singapore but she said her plan to KL was canceled. Ish!




Eyes

My beautiful eyes! LOL..I cant leave home without drawing eyeliner on my big eyes! Without eyeliner, my eyes will look damn tired and strengthless. wtf. Previously I was using the gel type eyeliner from Bobbi Brown but to save time every morning, I'm using MAC Powerpoint Eyeliner (Black).



The gel eyeliner is long lasting but I spend quite some time using it. Maybe it's because I'm not pro enough..hehhe!

Now it comes to eyeshadow. I love colours! Especially matching my eyeshadows with my outfit of the day. Okay I have a pair of super oily eyes where eyeshadows wont stay any longer than 2 hours. I was so frustrated! How can a woman not use any eyeshadows??!!! But luckily I found this magic cream that does wonder on my eyes. Now my eyeshadows can stay on my eyes for more than 24 hours without any smudging at all!

Presenting my bestie...URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION!!!



I love it mann! *muacks* Now I can blend any colours on my eyes without worrying the colours will smudge or fade off. I ordered it via ebay a year ago and it's gonna finish very soon. I guess I'll need to order again. If I'm not mistaken it's around RM70 including shipping costs. Worth the investment!!

I'm using eyeshadows from MAC and Elianto. My colours are all arranged in palettes. This is my favourite colour!

For mascaras, I'm a loyal user of Maybelline. I dont invest on expensive mascaras because I find that Maybelline mascaras can does wonders already.



Most importantly make sure it's waterproof please!

Cheeks

Some girls cant leave home without blusher but I'm the opposite..hahha! I can leave home without blusher. It's true. I always forget about blusher. LOL!



The only blusher I have from Make Up Store. ;)

Eyebrows

I'm using automatic eyebrow pencil from Ianti and I find it value for money! Only RM12.90 but for me it lasts only about a month plus.



Concealer. Another dont-need item. Hahha! Unless I really have one big acne to cover up!



Bought one from MAC long time ago and I think I use it for not more than 10 times. See it's still full right?!

Lips

Okay lastly my lips.



Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick and Chanel Lip Gloss.

There it goes! That's what I need everyday before stepping out of home. You know what?! I need almost 90 minutes to get ready every morning.

20 minutes in the bathroom. 15 minutes to choose my outfit. 30 minutes to put on skincare and makeups. 15 minutes to blow dry my hair. And the remaining time to do this and that..hahha! The fastest I can get ready is within 60 minutes (if I dont wash my hair). The boyfriend keeps complaining to all his friends that I need more than an hour to get ready. But I'm sure that's the average time every girl needs right? Unless those without makeups..

Tell me how long do you need to put on all your makeups..please!

I need to find out the average time. Just to compare if I were to use too much/little time to get ready..hehhe!

Crazy Weather

Bad headache today. In fact not only headache, dizzy as well. Sigh. I was supposed to go for meeting tonight but I skipped. Dropped the boyfriend at office and I drove home straight away. My plan wasn't to go back home actually. I wanted to go Dell Outlet at Low Yat to take a look at Mini 12. Once I dropped the bf, I was driving halfway and felt dizzy. No way I can go KL anymore. So I called the bf and told him that I had to go back home. He was too busy and never ask why.

I was so dizzy but luckily I managed to drive home safely. Took my shower with cold water and drank plenty of water. Still doesnt work. Maybe I have a real low blood pressure. Or maybe too much of party last Friday and Saturday but impossible I did not have enough sleep coz I slept til almost noon today. I need to sleep earlier tonight. Earliest will be around 12am..hahha! Coz I'm waiting for the bf to tapao dinner for me. By the time he reached home will be around 11pm..finish eating and everything will be 12am. I need to adjust my bedtime. It's abnormal now. Tuning please!

When I was halfway blogging, the bf's dad was yelling for car key. Our antique car was parked at the roadside near the forest. There's thick smoke coming out from the forest and it's either there's open burning or the forest got on fire coz of the heat. No idea what happened. So we walked towards the forest and many residents were already there. Some went into the forest with fire extinguisher but they came out. I thought the fire was put out but it wasnt. I couldnt stand the smoke so I went back home. Later on firemen arrived and put out the fire. Wth! Is the weather in Malaysia had gone crazy??!!

Damn freaking hot! I'm sweating even in the air cont room!!!

We're back to those college days where we clubbed almost every week! I'm not old anymore..hahahahha!

Happy Valentine's Day!

The day where love is in the air. Love is so great that my best friend 'purple-ly' fly to Singapore to celebrate her Valentine's. How sweet if she'll fly to KL on err...Friendship Day or any other day! Hehehhe! Whereas for me, I'm in KL celebrating Vday and my boyfriend's birthday. Yes 2-in-1 celebration. Friends always said that I saved up on presents. LOL! But sometimes it's not easy to celebrate this double celebration. Let me tell you why..

Him : Dear..it's my birthday today! So where u gonna bring me for dinner?
Me : D..it's Valentine's today! So where u gonna bring me for dinner?

Hahha! You see..we both rely on each other to plan for the day. He rely on me coz it's his birthday and I rely on him coz it's Valentine's. But we both ended up making the decision. I think next year I'm gonna plan for this. Celeb his birthday on the 13th and Valentine's on the 14th. Good idea right?!

Alright let me blog bout my double celebration now. I was in Genting on the Valentine's eve for Sally Yeh's concert. Yes again this year. I'm not a big fan of her but I kinda love her songs..I mean her voice actually.



The theme for her concert this year in Genting was My Funny Valentine. But throughout the concert nothing much is related to Valentine's Day. I think maybe it's because we went to the one on 13th Feb. So I guess her concert on the 14th will be better. I went to her concert with the bf, Wendy and Stephanie. Wendy got us the tickets from Mr Tee, using the Genting points redemption and we got the PS1 tickets which is very close to the stage. Perfect place!

The concert started around 8.30pm and Sally appeared in white long dress. After few songs then the games started. The MC will throw the flying plate to the audience and those who can catch it will have to bring their partner to the stage for games. AND MY BOYFRIEND CAUGHT IT!!

Once he caught the flying plate, my heart was jumping to the max. How am I gonna be on Arena of Stars stage?! Few thousands of audiences looking mann! But no choice we have to go up. Somehow it's a good experience standing on celebrity's stage! It's cool to be a celebrity mann. We were up on the stage with 3 other couples. And the game was to asked us to pose the most loving pose. Both of us were blanked. We cant think of anything..hahha!




And this is what we pose! Failed! Hahahaha..eventually there's one couple who got champion because their pose were really romantic! Anyway we still got the gifts. Not the pose matters, but the experience of standing at the stage in Arena of Stars, Genting.

Most of the items were sponsored by Yonex and Genting. If I'm not mistaken, Sally is one of Yonex's ambassador. She loves playing badminton. She played at all her concert in Genting. And then when she hit the shuttlecocks to the audience, the boyfriend caught the shuttlecock again! Stephanie said maybe he's used to catch shuttlecocks since he was state badminton played and a coach before. And again when Sally threw some soft toys, the boyfriend got it again. So damn lucky!




I love this couple cow! It has Sally's signature on it as well. The bf said we can put it in ebay for auction..hehhe! Her whole concert was awesome except her stamina has dropped compared to the last time she was here in Genting. But her voice is still fantastic!

After the concert, we went down the hill and headed to Golden Sun Club. A place where they have slot machines. And the members get to drink any liquor for free. Drink till you drop! Reached home around 4am and that's my Valentine's eve! ;)

My Valentine's Day

Well, the night before that we slept around 5am. So the next morning I woke up around 12pm. Online for a while and lazy-ing around for few hours. The boyfriend was so patient yesterday, he didnt even say a word asking me to be quick. He allowed me to do what I want until I'm willing to get my shower..hehhe! His patience makes all my relatives said he's a real good boyfriend. He can even accompany me for shopping the whole day without making any noise, unless when he's too tired to accompany me.

I took my own sweet time to take my shower and do my one-hour make up. It was only 4pm and I asked him whether I should put on my make up for the dinner. He asked me to do it (i mean the make up okay) in the car before we head down to Overseas Restaurant, Jalan Imbi but I didnt want to. So I make up and put on everything ready. Next you know where we went?!

Hahha! Everyone's like looking at me weirdly..wondering why this woman dressing up so pretty to have nasi kandar?! Hahha but I ignored them. Who cares?! They should know it's Vday and of course I'm on a date! hahha..

Then we went to The Gardens to do some shopping. I was looking for a clutch/wristlet. You know nowadays snatch thieves are everywhere and I'm trying not to use big bags. I'm kinda afraid nowadays. Shopped at many shops but couldnt find any. Coach have a variety but the designs aint nice. Salvatore none. Burberry has one, I love the classic design but it's way too expensive for a small clutch. Loewe none, but I love their latest collection small bag..in bright pink. Calvin Klein has one which is not bad. Still considering. And the other way we went to Pavilion and there's one from Prada which is damn nice. Considering...

After The Gardens, we headed straight to Overseas Restaurant. It was damn jammed. The Sultan Ismail Road was closed down for the OneFM Live Concert in front of Sg Wang Plaza. We were stucked in the jam for almost 45 minutes. Started our dinner around 9pm! LOL!

This year we have group celebration instead of couple celebration. I had bad experiences of dining at restaurants on Valentine's Day. Expensive + poor food quality. So this year we'd rather save the money and have good food at Overseas Restaurant. 9 of us had dinner there. Hahha I know this is an odd number because we have a single and available friend joining us. Will introduce him later..

That's the 9 of us. And Weijen get the chef to prepare for us the food. All the menu were prepared by the chef, which is his dad's friend. We just gave the amount of dishes that we want. In fact all the dishes prepared was good. Although some dishes is a bit weird..hahha you'll know what I mean when you see the photos.





And also fried rice and stir fried vegetables. But look at the fried oyster..



Hahha! Me and Delia were laughing all the way at the oyster and I ended up not eating it. Wth..

And now the birthday celebration for the boyfriend.
