You're Numbered!

Have you came across this book "You're Numbered"? I guess some of you should know bout this. Or perhaps you're more familiar with 'Visiber'? It is the combinations of idealogy and theories to discover one's self and his/her environment in totality. To know one's characters or attitudes, you just need their date of birth and you can do the so-called "fortune-telling" job! LOL..

I was in Mee Jawa today when my aunt, Jenny, asked for my birth date. She just bought the Visiber books from her friend to learn more about it. She, an insurance agent, used the Visiber methodology to recruit her agents. She will find out the characteristics of her agents to see whether they're capable of being an insurance agent or not. I dont know how true is the methodology but when she calculated mine, it was fairly true. I got more excited when what she said was true. Then I asked her to sell me the books since she have few copies with her. RM30 for one. I get both the English and Chinese version. I'm using the English one, and the boyfriend will read the Chinese one, coz my aunt said the explanations are better in Chinese version.

Have you seen this book?

I'm learning how to do the birth date calculation. So far, I only know some of the calculation, but not completely the entire "fortune-telling" story..hahha! Usually after they do the calculation, they will advise you to buy your character number and wear them as pendant. But I'm not interested in the item, but the methodology because it might be useful for me when I'm doing sales. Especially when I'm meeting my customers or downlines, I can actually have more topics with them, and to ensure my meeting sessions get more interesting..hehhe! (Only if the methodology is accurate enough!)

This is how the pyramid calculation looks like. And after you get the numbers, you can refer the character numbers to the traits and tell our the person's characteristics. So far I find it true on me but I need to test it out on different people to see how accurate it is.

One of the sample calculation given in the book. Let me share with you guys some of my traits.

Firstly, I am a BIG SPENDER! Cant run away from that fact. And I have 4 pairs of number stating that I'm a big spender. It's either 3-6 or 6-3, either way means a big spender and I really have 4 sets of that 3-6/6-3! That's terrible. I'll just briefly summarize everything. Noted for natural elegance and well manners. Fond of luxuries and fine things in life. Undeniably, they've got style! Likely to get respect from others wherever they go. Compassionate and do not hesitate to support their subordinates. Weaknesses - They are proud and feel superior over the others. Hold strongly to own principles. Always busy and talkative, likely to excel in sales. Stubborn in nature. Big spender, keen on investments. Attracts supporters, friendly. Businesses or investments will yield handsome returns. Cant work for others, but capable of earning generated income. (All these traits are taken from the book)

And my aunt gave me a conclusion..since I'm a big spender, I need to find more generated income to cover my spending attitude, and she recommended me to go for BOTH direct selling and as her insurance agent! Hahha..she relates back to her insurance by the end of the fortune telling session. A big no-no for me to go on both, I cant focus on both things.

I'm getting more interested in the book. I'm gonna ask my aunt if they do sell more detailed version of the methodology. I wanna learn more!

Okay enough of those numbers and traits.

I Helped Someone Today

I'm very proud of myself today. I actually helped someone who's in need.

I was in Wangsa Maju just now having supper with the boyfriend and my bro. Halfway eating, there's this woman in her 40s approached us and she's selling DVDs. I saw her from far and I told the boyfriend that I pitied her. When she approached her, I pretend to take a look at the DVDs and get her to sit down with us. I started to ask her whether she's a Malaysian or foreigner, and to my surprise she's Malaysian, from Penang. Then I started to find out more about her, and then came to know that she was a saloon owner in Penang and was once wealthy. But now she has financial problems and she needs to get a source of income to clear her financial problems. She is in need of money badly, and that is why she came down to KL to find a job.

At the moment, she couldnt find a full time job yet and she's selling DVDs because they provide her a place to stay. She have no choice. I really pitied her and tried my best to help her. So I asked her whether she's interested in doing direct selling, and to sell my products. At first, she rejected and said she was into direct selling for many years and has failed in many companies. So she has no interest in doing direct selling. But after my persuasion, she finally decides to give herself a last chance for direct selling. Indirectly, I'm actually helping her.
She told me she really cant afford to dig out any money to buy products from me to start up as capital. Since she doesnt have any capital/money, so I'll give her my products and let her do the sales. I'll only collect the money from her after she sells out the products.

I told her that is better than selling the pirated DVDs. According to her, she dare not to do so in Penang coz she is shy if her friends found out that a saloon owner has to sell DVDs to earn an income. But due to her bad situation, she have no choice but to come to KL and sell DVDs every night. I asked her to give herself a chance and a chance for me to help her. I will try my best to bring her and to support her. However, I did told her that I couldnt help anything if she were to borrow money from me, but other than that I will definitely give her my 100% help in building up her career or to earn some income from PHHP.

She has agreed to give herself a chance. I'm gonna meet her tomorrow to teach her how she can approach people and sell the products. I told her selling health products is somehow better than selling pirated DVDs. No doubt she'll still sell the DVDs at night because she needs a place to stay. I'm hoping that I can do my best to help her. I really pity her situation now. From a saloon owner, a well-known hairstylist, to a DVD seller and in need of cash badly.

I just hope that she does not have any bad intentions towards my help.

I've met all sorts of people since I started direct selling. In fact, some of my downlines are from poor background and some are from rich families. I learned to understand people better and to work with them according to their ability. I find myself very soft-hearted to customers and I sell my products according to their income ability. I never force someone who's earning just enough for themselves or family to buy from me. I'll encourage them to introduce their friends to me in order for them to get free products (if they want to take health supplements badly). No point I'm earning from another person who's suffering from financial problem. That will be the biggest sin!

Alright I need to stop here. It's already 4.07am and I have lotsa things to do tomorrow. Good nite! ;)

My Latest Obsession

A new laptop. I want a new laptop. I need a laptop actually. So far I've been using the boyfriend's laptop or my house desktop pc. I have too many stuffs like pictures, songs, powerpoint slides and etc. That's the reason for me to get a new laptop..hehhe! I'm considering either Dell, Sony Vaio or Macbook. So far, I think Macbook is in my mind. I need to find out more on its applications and to test out the dual mode of Mac and Microsoft.

I asked my cousin to show me the dual mode used in her Macbook. I wanna test out the speed and other applications. Perhaps this weekends I'll go to her place to try her Macbook. I heard from Eugene that Mac wont get crash or infected by virus. That's one good point. But I'm afraid I'm not used to Mac's applications. And I'm worry for the Microsoft Office applications. I need to use that frequently.

Switch Performance. Microsoft on Mac. Hahha and Eugene said it is so potong steam when you have Mac but with Microsoft applications. If I get Mac, I'll still install Microsoft just in case I need to use any of Microsoft's programs.

But I just love Macbook's design. It is so cool! Especially the pretty white surface. Here's the two choice I'm choosing..

MacBook

All new 13-inch models featuring:

Intel Core 2 Duo processor
Glossy widescreen display
Built-in iSight camera
Front Row
MagSafe Power Adapter
Mac OS X Leopard and iLife '08

Choice A - RM 3,899

MB402ZP/A
13.3-inch widescreen display
1280 x 800 resolution
2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory (2x512MB)
120GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
Combo drive (DVD-ROM, CD-RW)

PLUS

RM899 Apple Care Protection
(with free upgrade to 4GB memory)

RM4798

Choice B - RM 4,599

MB403ZP/A
13.3-inch widescreen display
1280 x 800 resolution
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB memory (2x1GB)
160GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA hard drive
Double-layer SuperDrive (DVD±RW, CD-RW)

RM4599

So it's either one. Either I get more memory and extended warranty OR more hard disk but only 1 year warranty. Any suggestions?

I'm so into Macbook now. Previously I was considering to get Sony Vaio, but for that budget, I think Macbook would be a better choice. I came across Apple's website, and they're giving away free Ipod Touch to U.S students who purchase Macbook via online. I want the free Ipod Touch too!

And have you guys seen Macbook Air? If you havent, get into any Apple outlet and feel the slimness of Macbook Air! I love but it's out of my budget. RM6299, without the Superdrive..so it'll costs around RM6700. Too expensive!

Alright I gtg now. Please share with me if you know anything bout Mac k! Thankz ;)

Petrol Price At Peak

I guess it was a breaking news to everyone when the Prime Minister announced the increase of oil price from RM1.92 to RM2.70. An increase of 40%! All petrol stations were full yesterday after the announcement. At first I thought it was just some rumors, but it was real. The boyfriend didnt wanna join the queue at the petrol station at PJ. He thought that he could just go to the Shell station outside his house, who knows not many people knows about the existence of the petrol station in the taman. But he was wrong, the queue was as terrible as in PJ.

Actually he didnt wanna pump his car's petrol anymore, coz it was really long queue, but after considering that he could save up to around RM40, then he decided to wait. Quite fast actually, we waited for only 20 minutes. Usually his full tank costs about RM100, now with the price increase, he has to pay around RM140 for full tank. This is terrible! I guess we need to get a car which saves petrol like Vios or City. We've been considering to get Vios second hand first before getting a better car. Anyway still under consideration..hehhe! Oh I do realize something at the petrol stations yesterday. Most of the cars that queue for the petrol are those common cars like Wira, Vios, Kancil, Kelisa, Myvi and etc, but you can hardly find luxury cars like BMWs or Mercedes or others!

I told the boyfriend those rich peoples are not much affected by the price increase. At most, they'll do more calls to earn more and that's it! So I told him that we should not complain much on the price increase, instead we should try to earn more income to compensate with the trend. No point making so much noise on the price increase when the decision is final. I think we'll just have to work and earn more right?!

Pan Mee @ Bao Bao

I miss pan mee so much and yesterday the boyfriend fetched me to Aman Suria for pan mee. The shop is called Bao Bao. Go and try it..really nice especially their specialty pan mee with fried fish crackers.

My pan mee is always with extra vege. I love pan mee's vege. I have no idea what is the vege's name..hahha! They have their branch in Ampang as well. I think if you guys are from Ampang then you should know this pan mee. Janice and Deezel came over to yam cha as well. It was raining heavily after we had our pan mee. The wind was blowing strongly and we cant get into our cars. So we waited till the rain go away.

Dinner Time

Had dinner with Weijen, Adrian and Janice at New Paris Restaurant at SS2. The boyfriend received Weijen's sms and this is how it goes..an interesting one.

LOL PHHP Global Message pulak! Last time it used to be clubbing global message but no more.

Alex ffk-ed us. That's his trend. When the time reached, his phone is off, then you know why. LOL.

Dinner at New Paris was so-so only. The food is not as good as last time anymore. I dont think we'll wanna go there again. We're all waiting for dinner at Overseas Restaurant again..I missed the dinner we had during Danny's farewell. That's too good mann! And that's what you call a good dinner! Hehhe..

And here are some monkeys we saw nearby the boyfriend's house. I dont know where those monkeys come from but there's one aunty said those monkeys are really naughty. They will enter into her house asking for food. If I'm the aunty, I'll shift immediately! Hahha..

I'm afraid of monkeys!

KL

Reached KL this evening around 4pm. It was raining quite heavily and I was in the bus thinking how should I get down later..luckily the boyfriend coincidently followed the bus I was in and he followed till Pudu. I quickly get off the bus and hopped into his car. Just the right timing. I was carrying one medium luggage and another small one. Yes I have many things and those are my necessities!

Next we went to Pavilion to meet up with WeiJen. Had dinner in Dragon-i and as usual, I had my favourite La Mian Beef Brisket. But now I dont think the La Mian is delicious anymore. Perhaps it's because I had too much of it. I should try other dishes next time. Then we went window shopping and then had drinks at The Loaf. Again, my window shopping was never success. I bought two headbands from MissT.

Bought the pink and white one.

I was looking for pretty headbands for quite some time already but couldnt find a nice one. I saw one in Diva the other day but I didnt get it. By the time I made my decision to buy, it was out of stock..ish! I even searched for it in Pavilion today, but it was out of stock. At least I have a new look with this headbands..hehhe! I need more styles..formal, sporty, girlish, casual, and everything! LOL

It was raining heavily. Not to complain much, but seriously I'd rather be under the sun than the rain coz I need to meet customers and rainy days make everything difficult! Unless when it's my rest day, then I'll heart rain..LOL!

Kindergarten Graduation

Something to share with everyone! I found my kindergarten graduation photo in my dad's file and I quickly snapped the photo. I was so exciting when I saw this photo and I told my dad I looked prettier when I was young..hahha! Just because I'm skinny during that time, that's why I love the photo.

I dont know where I was looking and it's definitely not exactly looking at the cameraman. I dont know why I was not smiling also. Perhaps during that time I have no idea how great graduation ceremony is. Who knows it's just for fun..hahha!

Or perhaps I was worrying that my mum will leave me in the kindergarten and she'll return home. I could still remembered how I used to cry every morning when my mum sent me to school. Every morning my teacher will definitely pull me from my mum and then locked the classroom door. I always cried when my mum trying to leave and sometimes I even chased her till the car. Damn embarrassing!

Kindergarten is like not long ago, and now I'll be graduating for my Bachelor of Degree this September. Time flies. I'm really happy that I still have this kindergarten graduation pic. This September I'm gonna have another graduation photo. Definitely gonna show up in slides during my wedding! (Ahem in the future I mean..) I have many childhood photos and I think that will be too much for me to display out for my wedding slides. Oops why am I keep thinking of those wedding thingy?! Perhaps too many of my friends are getting married soon..slightly got influenced..hehhe!

So do I look different? Young vs now.. ;)

Summer Colour

I just highlighted my hair 2 days ago. I got bored with my dull brown hair and decided to go for a change. At least I'll look more "in" trying new colour. I wanted some striking colour but I dare not. I'm afraid I'll look like "la-la" with those striking hair colour. I came across the hair style magazine and there's an article from the professional saying that the colour for this summer is the Wood Tone. Reason..not very sure!?! Hehhe..

Michael suggested that I should go for tone highlight, which means I can highlight 2-3 lighter tones than my base. My base was dark brown, so he highlighted for me 3 shades of lighter brown. To my surprise, the last tone was almost blonde. And the tone was perfectly matched. I love it! At least now I looked more fresh with the highlights. I can go for cool colours for now as my job doesnt require any decent look. I can be decent/wild as I like..LOL!

The colour in real is actually darker because I used flash for these pics.

And meet my new pants, Electric Blue Skinny Jeans..RM48 from the night market. I love the colour but it is quite difficult to pair with top. I find it best to pair with either white or yellow top. Other colour doesnt match that well.

I'll be going down to KL tomorrow..more things to do and I'll get busier which means less blogging..LOL! ; )
