3R The Show Shooting @ Mee Jawa

And I'm here blogging from the scene..hehhe! It's the 3R program from TV3. The hosts are Celina, Rafidah and Kartini. Actually I dont know who are they til I visit their website at http://www.3r.com.my/theshow.htm. It mostly about women issues. And I just found out that 3R stands for "Respect! Relax! Respond!
"
3R is a television programme dealing with young women's issues (Don't be scared! These can be anything from rape to relationships, from menstruation to money, from sexuality to sports!) Besides that, we also feature female personalities, activities for today's young woman, and basic knowledge in information technology. With our website and various events, we also hope to be more interactive and reach out to a wider circle of friends. That's you!" (Quoted from the website)

The reason they choose Mee Jawa is because of the antique environment. Currently Mee Jawa is gaining it's exposure from medias. It was once published in News Straits Times. Last week TV1 went to Puchong branch to interview my aunt, Stephanie. The interview session will be released in TV1 early of next year. And today it's another shooting from TV3. That's cool!

Yesterday I was too pathetic and I decided to take some photos of the antiques in Mee Jawa. I guess some of you might be surprise not knowing whats some of the items..hehe!

DSC02273 So called luggage or suitcase - dah berkarat de! And that's the value of antiques..

Pirates Cafe @ Kota Damansara

I would say it is something like Station1 but a nicer version..hehe. The interior and environment is so comfy that we stayed from 8 something pm til 12+ midnight. It's AhHwa's brother who owns the cafe/restaurant. They have live band performing and I love the singers..I mean their voice, dont get me wrong k..LOL! The girls can sing very well especially jazz songs. The boyfriend ordered Western food for me while I was busy online-ing doing part of my AMR assignment.

Salad Chicken. Tempting huh? I missed TGI Fridays. I think I should go next week. Or perhaps Dome. For the caesar salad. LOL. I'm craving for so many food. Crazy! But I gotta control myself, coz I'm planning to go on a diet. I guess I'm overweight..hahha! So it's time to cut down. Otherwise I'll look horrible on my holidays photo..hehe!

And we played Big2 after the dinner. But this time it's not with poker cards. But with this...

DSC02263

Cute huh? I wanna get one set as well. In a set, they have this little blocks for Big2 and Mahjong. Super cute rite? I think it's cheaper to buy in China. Will get one when I go Macau or HongKong on Jan. It's better than playing mahjong on a whole big table.

And WeiJen started his "fortune telling" job..LOL. He asked us to draw a picture containing all this features:
  • mountain
  • house
  • river
  • fence
  • boat
  • snake
  • 3 balls
So I started drawing my picture.

Followed by the boyfriend and AhHwa

The boyfriend's drawing is so damn horrible. That's why I have to label what he drew..hehe! He is never good in arts but only in finance! Then Weijen interpret the life characteristics according to our drawings..

Mountain - it represents how high are your dreams and missions. The higher it is, the higher dreams you have

House & Fence
if the fence surrounded the house, this means that you are good in handling your family and will protect them (if it is far away, then you're....LOL!)

River
it depends on how straight and crooked is your river. If your river is drawn in a straight line, it means that you're a straight person. If the river is crooked, it means the otherwise.

Boat
the location of your boat. If it is at the end of the river, or landed on the land, it means that your tasks are completed til end. If it's in the middle of the river, then your tasks are always half done.

Tree & snake
the trees represent you and the snake represent your loved one. If the tree and snake are close to each other, it shows that your relationship are close. If far apart, then it means the otherway. (Look at my boyfriend's snake and tree!! it's so far apart..hahha!)

3 balls
the distance of the balls represents how different tasks are completed in one short. If the 3 balls are sticked together, it means that you always complete different tasks in one short.

Hahhaha! Get your friends to draw all this and see whether it is true or not! I guess ours is quite true.
So WeiJen..you can start your fortune telling career! LOL

Jakarta and Medan - Confirmed!

Yes. I'm going to Indonesia next month. Will be following Dad there and I take it as a holiday instead of business..hahha! The boyfriend will be going along. We'll be flying to Medan first. Will be in Medan for about 3 days, then fly to Jakarta for another 3 days. Almost a week. I hope it's enough..I have no idea whats the best place in both places.

To all my Indon friends and readers,

Please recommend me some of the interesting places in your hometown. If you guys are back to either Jakarta or Indon, perhaps we can meet up!! Introduce me the nicest place in town! Hehhe! Just drop me some comments on where I should go or the best dining place! ;)

I Cant Wait

Still another 2 more paper to go..hahha! The countdown doesnt mean anything. Coz tomoro I'll be having MPS paper and ICF on Friday. Then I'm done.Yesterday I had start planning what I'm gonna do after exam.December, we'll be going Singapore and Langkawi. Robert and Delia is having their break, so we planned to go either Langkawi, Malacca or Cameron Highlands. Most probably we'll go Langkawi. Duty free Island! And I told him that our Macau and HK trip is quite near.Time flies and the next minute we'll be on our way to these cities. I've start searching for interesting places in Macau,HK and perhaps Guangzhou.

No plans for Guangzhou so far. They had not decided whether to go or not. Coz we only have 7 days for all these places. Instead we'll go Zhuhai, as recommended by Adrian. I gotta book for hotels asap. Otherwise we'll end up loitering around the cities searching for hotels. Or else we might also end up in motels..LOL!

I have no idea of all the places of interest in Macau. I just chat with my cousin, who's working in travel agency. He's gonna send me the travel itenaries and hotels recommendations. Thanks Stan! He'll be going to Hokkaido, Japan. I guess he loves Japan a lot..hahha! He said the best time to go Japan is around April, but any season is good for travelling! I told him I'm gonna arrange with the boyfriend for Japan. Coz we did plan to go Japan next year. But most importantly is the earnings from investments. I hope more good news from his remisier is coming! LOL I sound so greedy..

To me, Japan is a must-go-place, since I saw all the photos that Robert took when he went to Japan. Especially Disneyland and Tokyo city.

Ok I'd better stop dreaming of holidays. My finals has got nothing to do with it..hahha! Anyway do drop me some comments if u have experiences in Macau or HK or Guangzhou ya! ;)

2 More To Go

Oh no I've been doing this countdown from the start of my first paper. My first paper aint good. And it's tough. I'm left with one marketing paper and another finance. That's it! Right now I'm putting all my efforts to concentrate for that 2 paper. I've had enough rest yesterday.Went to KL for almost the whole day. Today it's time to get back to lecture notes and tutorials. Sigh!

Mee Jawa @ Food Republic in Pavilion

Yesterday we went to Pavilion with Adrian, Janice, and WeiJen. My only intention is to look for my aunt in Mee Jawa. Mee Jawa has opened another outlet in Pavilion. It's inside the food court named Food Republic. It's under Singaporeans' management. The rental is pretty costly. Estimated about RM30,000 per month. Luckily Mee Jawa is doing good. My aunt has been very busy since the opening. I'm supposed to help out but I cant. Perhaps after exams I'll help her for couple of days ;)

Try out if you happened to be at the food court! And perhaps you can leave some comments in my blog. Heheh. I find that the food industry is doing well these days. Especially those light food, for example, J Co Donuts. I cant believe the excellence of the business! I was really shocked when I saw the queue yesterday. The queue was zig zag til the next store! I guess they had knocked out Dunkin' Donuts. And another competitors that J Co is facing is Big Apple, The Curve. Just now we went and the queue was quite long. Hmm perhaps it's because of its freshly made donuts.

And this is another light food which we ate yesterday. Egg tarts. John King - with their milk tarts, egg tarts and durian tarts. The queue is another surprise. But I dont really fancy tarts. So there's nothing special for me. I'd prefer mini egg tarts that Robert tapao for us the other day.

Dome

No shopping yesterday. I cant afford to walk that much coz of my heels. My feets hurt badly and blisters popped out! It's bandaged with few transparent plasters..hahha! After WeiJen arrived at Mee Jawa, we went to Dome. Again? Yes again! LOL! And I find the Dome in Lot10 is filled with g*ys. They come in groups. But the thing is..they're all quite good looking okay. As usual lar..my Dome session is always a glass of drink and a bowl of potato wedges. Even WeiJen knows what I'm gonna order..LOL!

Overseas Restaurant

Dinner Time. We went for dinner at Overseas Restaurant, Jalan Imbi. Danny joined us for dinner. He's leaving to Australia today to meet his precious girl, Tookta. The whole restaurant is filled with uncles and aunties with families. But six of us..LOL!

It's part of our yam cha session also. Danny became our story teller. He busted out so many of his "keng" experience..hahha! Janice laughed til as if her nerves were condemned! Her laughter is so funny that it became part of our conversation. She said her sis' laughter is worst! It sounds like the car engine that couldnt really start!!! LOL try to imagine...

Bar Club @ Asian Heritage Row

Danny, Adrian and Janice headed to Mardigras after dinner. So the boyfriend suggested that we yam cha. WeiJen brought us to the new club in Asian Heritage Row. Called the Bar Club. It's managed by his friend. We like that place a lot. It's very comfy. Unlike Maison which is so damn packed! The grand opening will be on the 15th Nov.

Check it out guys!

Bar Club has few sections of bar. The Fire Bar, Water Bar, Snow Bar, Muse Bar and (I-cant-remember) Bar. Upstairs is the karaoke sections. They have 6 karaoke rooms with different feel for different room. Inside the karaoke room, it's like a bedroom with long bed, and the comfy feel. Perhaps it's a great place to have birthday party. Something like Red Box, but it's the comfy version.

Yesterday we ordered the Hugo Boss cocktails. XX for women and XY for men. Each cocktail costs RM25 and you'll get a free miniature of Hugo Boss XX or XY. WeiJen ordered XX and XY cocktail..so we have both miniature. I love the fragrance of both XX and XY. Perhaps I'm gonna get one.

(Stressed)

Really stressed! I've been struggling to study IFM which involves all those exchange rates conversion, analysis of multinational companies and all other confusing stuffs. I'm so miserable now. When I'm practicing the questions, I understand everything. But I were to repeat them from Lecture 1, then I couldnt really remember..ARRGH! Getting frustrated now. Heeeelllppp!

And this is what I told the boyfriend,
"D..can u help me buy something?"
"What?"
"Say can or not 1st.."
(I asked pathetically)
"Aiyah what you want I sure will get it k.."

"Ok good! Can you buy me some extraaaa timeee??"

The boyfriend's expression..

I need more time now!

IFM paper gonna start tomoro at 9am til 12 pm. 3-hours paper and I gotta answer 40 MCQs, 5 SAQs and Essay Qs. 70% of my overall marks..damn stressed! I need to get at least 35%. Itu pun just on the border line! Sigh..stressed giler! After this paper then I'm at bit relieved..coz ICF and MPS aint that tough I guess..

NuffNang ads

Oh ya. Congrats me for getting a new advertiser for Nuffnang. It's on the right panel of my blog. The campaign will be launch for a week. The advertisement is about Hypp TV and for more information, log on to www.hypp.tv especially if you're a No.1 football fan!

I guess this site is perfect for non-local students like me..LOL! I dont have astro at my rent house and all I have is DVD player and a TV. Cant get all the basic channels even! So perhaps this web is another live TV for me..hahha!

Anyway I'll be graduating soon and I dont need to stay in rent house anymore!
It's time to start looking for a nicer place to stay, nicer car and start all the real life challenges. Lots and lots of plans coming after final exams. Might be going to Indonesia soon. Dad discovered the business opportunities there and it's time to get going. I've started my first investment in shares and I'll update more bout it when I earn my first profit from it..hehhe!

Alright back to IFM first..;)
