M.A.C Fafi Collection

Girls get the latest summer collection from MAC! Grab them before it's month end. I really love their Fafi collection packaging especially MAC Fafi Faffinate figurine. According to the make up artist, this gonna be the limited edition products. I was really attracted to the new packaging and I decided to grab any of the Fafi collection - just because of the packaging. LOL.

My main idea was to look for MAC pigments like I've shown you guys the video on previous post. I wanna feel the texture of the pigments to see whether it suits me. But to my surprise, the MAC in Gurney Plaza do not have the pigments. I was disappointed. I told the make up artist I wanna look for long lasting eyeshadow and he recommended me the highly pigmented eyeshadow. He introduced the new Paint Pot to me but it doesn't suit me coz the colours available are not that pretty.

This is entire Fafi collections. I didnt purchase all of them, but I wished I could if I'm rich enough!

Here's the few items I bought

MAC Fafi Sassed Up Iridescent Powder

I only purchase the beauty powder of Fafi collection. I like the lipstick as well, but since I'm not a big fan of lipstick, I save up on that. This amazing beauty powder does wonder on our features. For girls like me who have flat nose and not-that-sharp features, you can try this highlight pigments/bronzer (sorry no idea what it's called). It is applied on the T-zone and chin area. It will add brightness to these areas and sharpen up your image. The power of make up!

Price: RM80

MAC Lightful Foundation

I gave up on MAC foundations for months already. But this time I'm giving myself another chance to try their latest foundation, called Lightful Collection. The make up artist told me this is the best foundation in MAC but it's expensive. I asked him to demo on my skin which has large pores. Another magic tool that does wonders. It closes up my pores without the obvious look of heavy foundation on your skin. I hate the look of obvious super thick foundation effect on my skin! A good investment for foundation. I guess it can lasts for quite some time coz you only need a small amount of the foundation to cover the entire face.

Price: RM35 for case and RM140 for foundation = RM170

MAC Eyeshadow

I'm learning to use eyeshadow and still a noob on that. I have troubles blending and shaping the eyeshadow. I'm learning day by day from the make up tutorials in YouTube. The MAC make up artist did the Fafi look on me and I'm not used to that dramatic look. Perhaps it's too funky as if I'm going for a fashion show. I get to the toilet and rubbed it off right after paying for my items. Waste his time and effort and also talent on me! Hahahha. I was attracted to the whole spectrum of eyeshadow colours that are available in MAC but again, I'm not rich enough to own all of them. LOL! I bought this aqua-ish eye shadow which costs me RM57 for one colour! Wanted to get the glittery white as well, but it's out of my budget.

Price: RM57

I asked for more freebies and samples but the make up artist just give me the strobe creams and 2 make up sponge. Damn kiamsiap!

Conclusion, I burnt another hole in my pocket spending only in MAC store. I cant exceed my budget coz I dont know how much is my commission this month. After that I went to the ATM machine to check whether my commission has arrived and to my surprised it is there! Hahha I thought of getting the glittery white eyeshadow as well but luckily I stopped myself from buying again!

I continue my next shopping in Sasa. Beauty products again

Cyber Colors - Eye Liner

This is my first coloured eyeliner. I'm used to black/brown eyeliner but I'm trying something new. This eyeliner can be used as eyeshadow as well but I'm not sure how well it gonna lasts. I'm not investing much in coloured eyeliner and this is one of the cheap coloured eyeliner in Sasa, and the quality is quite good.

Price: RM13.90 each

Red Earth Gold Eyeshadow

A mistake! I took the bronze colour eyeshadow but the salesgirl get me the gold one. I didn't check with her and only realized it's gold when I wanted to use this morning. It is glittery light gold and it is good to blend with bronze or brown eyeshadow. The colour is very light and it suits nude make up.

Price: RM35

Sasa Eyeshadow Brush

Ahh this is the best investment! The quality of the brush is superb and I find it similar to Bobbi Brown's quality. I dont really spend a lot on make up brushes and I usually get non-branded but good quality brush. A must-get-product from Sasa!

Price: RM19.90 only!

I spent about RM400 on cosmetics yesterday and it's like nothing much I can see. Can you imagine how expensive are girls' things, just to look pretty?! That's why girls' money are the easiest to earn!

One thing that I missed out from Fafi collection!

Rectangle MAC/Small Clearly Fafi!

No idea how much it gonna costs. Anyway I hope the boyfriend can accompany me on Monday to get this! I need another case to store all my eyeshadows..hehe!

(Opps I forgot bout my lip gloss!)

This is the new look which suits the Fafi theme..LOL!
I cant wait for my fringe to grow..heeellppppp!

My Day In The Saloon

I have phobia of going to the saloon, not because of the hairstylist but the time stuck there. I always spent at least 3 hours in the saloon and today I spent almost 5 hours in the saloon cutting, colouring and highlighting my hair.

I should have bring laptop there and watch the make up tutorials from YouTube. I had plans for that last night but I forgotten this morning. I was in a rush to go out this afternoon and forgot bout the laptop. Otherwise I would have finish the boyfriend's assignment.

My hair colour faded from purplish red to lala colour. I cannot bear with the faded colour coz I tend to lose my self esteem whenever I looked at the mirror. And what ever I wear tend to look weird with that yellowish hair colour. I'm very concerned of my hair except going for treatments. I dont really spend much for treatments in the saloon as I always do my DIY treatment at home. I always think that damaged hair somehow has damaged. Treatment wont help that much. The only way is to chop it off and let the new hair grow. That was what I did when I had my long but real damaged hair. I chopped it off to shoulder length.

Today I get the hairstylist to trim my split ends and to reshape my hair style. And to colour dark brown as base. That's all. But he suggested that I do the new highlight which is covered inside the hair. Hardly can be noticed unless the wind blows and your hair is frizzy..LOL!

I leave it to him. No comments. I'm ready to try something new this time. Be it purple or red hair, it's okay.

What do you think?

I'm not used to the fringe. But no worries, this gonna be my last short hair cut. I'm gonna keep my hair long and start styling with various styles again. At least I've tried bob and shoulder length style. Now I wanna go back to long hair.

Anyway I love the shape of my hair now ;)

Make Up Tutorials

I'm into make up lately! I've been watching lotsa make up tutorials from YouTube and blogs. I'm learning all sorts of make up especially on the eyes. Exploring all sorts of eyeshadow make up and learning each and every technique.

For eyes, I think M.A.C cosmetics are best. Especially their pigmented eyeshadows. They really do wonders. I love their fresh and dramatic colours. I'm gonna do my shopping when this weekends with the boyfriend. Definitely gonna visit M.A.C stores.

This is another tool that do wonders to eyes.URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION.

This miracle eyeshadow primer is unmatched by any other in the beauty industry!
The genie in this bottle fulfills three wishes: eyeshadow that lasts, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing.
Apply Primer Potion to lids before shadow application. It dries down almost instantly (and invisibly), creating smooth lids that are super powered eyeshadow magnets.
The formula is full of silicone, which you beauty mavens know makes for a smooth and silky application. Packaged in a pretty genie bottle, our Potion applies with a magic wand and flocked applicator.

Tips: A little goes a long way! Apply a thin coat and let dry, then apply Eyeshadow as you normally would. Then DARE it to crease. (Double-dog dare it, even!) Price: $16.00 (approx RM52)

Not available in Malaysia. I have to order online and wait till they shipped to my doorstep. The boyfriend gonna get it for me since I'm finishing his Marketing Research assignment for him..*wink*

I came across this UDPP from beauty blogs and everyone seems to fancy this item. My eyes area are always oily and I cant apply eyeshadows straight away. Within few hours, the eyeshadow will smudge, leaving my eyes in a mess!

I shall try this UDPP and who knows it might do wonders on my eyes as well..hehhe!

Here's one of the video from YouTube which I envy most! I wish I could have the whole collection of M.A.C products!

Spending on cosmetics are girls' best investments.
My boyfriend gonna pinch me if he reads this..hahha!Anyway girls are girls. Nothing's gonna change us, right?! ;)

Surabaya

One of the unexpected city in Indonesia. I find the place is much better than in Jakarta or Medan. Surabaya is so clean compared to other city! Similar to KL or Penang. I was so surprised with the city when we're on the way to our hotel. The place is really clean. You can hardly find rubbish on the roadside or small roads, unlike Jakarta. Perhaps we're in town area more often and havent explore into the small towns.

I like their hypermarket. Called Sinar. If I'm not mistaken, it is an Australian company.

We went there to get some bottled mineral water and some instant cup noodles just in case we're hunting for supper. And we were converting from rupiah to ringgit before purchasing any items. Too many zeroes for rupiah. Sometimes we even calculate wrongly..hahha!

The wine section suits Robert best. It's been quite sometime since I last yam cha with Robert and Delia. I msg-ed Delia in Friendster the other day. I heard from the boyfriend she's leaving to overseas for training about 3 months. Hmm I'm gonna be lonely if there's any dinner at the boyfriend's family gathering.

The next day we went to Tunjungan Plaza, the biggest shopping mall in Surabaya. Quite big but nothing much to shop. I dont know whether we already have this new Honda Accord in Malaysia, but it was my first time seeing the new Honda in Tunjungan Plaza. Not bad but I still prefer Toyota Camry.

Everyday we have our meals in restaurant. In Indonesia, there's no way for you to try the hawker stalls food. The only place to dine is the restaurant in shopping malls. I'm trying to get used to the food in Indonesia and somehow the food there suits me. I love spicy food and they have it.

And most of the Indonesians love chili padi so much! Chili padi is a must for their meals. Look at how they eat the chili padi..

Saja posing only la. I dare not bite the chili padi just like that! My hot and spice level is not up to that standard..hehhe! Lately I cant take too spicy food, my stomach feels uncomfortable if it's too spicy. Unlike last time I can take anything. My poor stomach cant bear with what the owner eats anymore..LOL!

Oh this is our kiddy punya action. Memang like small kids playing bumper cars. It is only RM3 per game and we joined the kids while waiting for our massage session.

Massage Session

My first time. Still virgin. I never been for any massage session coz I'm afraid of the pain and geli-ness. The boyfriend decided to go for massage and I joined him. First time.

It is only RM38 per hour if you choose the locals to massage and RM60 for the China ladies. The boyfriend's uncle choosed the China ladies and ended up having the same service as ours. The only differences is the China ladies speak Mandarin and the local speaks Bahasa Indonesia..hahha!

First they asked us to get into the changing room to change into their pyjamas. Hahha I called it pyjamas coz it really looks like one. Then we waited in the cafe for our turn. We ordered club sandwich and aqua water.

Before the massage starts, still can camwhore. I wanted to camwhore during the massage session but I couldnt. It was so painful.

SAKIT TAPI SYIOK!

Damn comfy after that. The locals are really small size but their power..ish never mess with them!

The boyfriend was yelling in pain when the lady massaged his back. My dad heard him and asked "Wah..kena raped ar??!" LOL!

No longer a virgin. I wanna go for massage again! ;)
