Day 1
We flew to Taiwan with MAS, but before that in the airport the hubby realised that he saw Wang Lee Hom lookalike. But he didn't tell me and just ignored. When we boarded the plane, he was pretty sure he saw the famous Taiwanese celebrity because he was already on board sitting in first class area.
When we almost landed in Taiwan, we wanted to sneak into the first class but the stewards didn't allow us, and since we were in group, the whole economy class of us cheered for him and he heard us. Upon arrival LeeHom was so nice that he waited for us to get down and greeted hello and allow for some photography with us before leaving!
Such a humble and down to earth celebrity, 100000000 likes!
"Welcome to Taiwan and enjoy your stay!" thats what he was saying.
He's just too cute, minus the break outs that he got perhaps from the hot weather in Malaysia!
*laughs*
Day 2
Upon arrival in Taiwan, we went to Alishan straight. We reached Alishan quite late on the first day, around 12 midnight and straight to the hotel.
We gottta get up at 3am, to watch sunrise and everyone was still so damn sleepy. And the weather was too cold for us to get up. I don't mind to sleep longer in exchange for watching sunrise..LOL!
We took the train to the peak of Alishan. The train experience was quite fun because it's like train from those days.
We were unlucky because the weather was too cold and it was covered by the mist, so no chance for sunrise. see told ya i'd rather exchange to sleep in longer!
Thank god there's some stalls opened that early selling some hot stuffs to ease the cold in us.
They have the best egg toast!
Came down from Alishan and we went to the park nearby to explore their huge park which is jungle like.
At night we went for some show, including lady boy show!
Here's the ugliest lady boy ever! Hahahaha~!
This is the only lady boy that targets on my hubby, he keeps winking to the hubby throughout the whole show, and we assume he's got eye nerves problem.
This is the prettiest among all!
Day 3
Theme park day
This is one of the biggest theme park in Taiwan.
The first extreme game that they went for was the scariest roller coaster ever! I have no guts to join them because I'm afraid i'll have heart attack or die halfway in the roller coaster..hahhaa!
The hubby was forced to play although he didn't want it at first.
Happy faces before it starts.
And you should see how their faces were secretly captured by the camera on standby. LOL!
The next place that we went is the tea plantation, which I'm pretty sure everyone who goes to Taiwan will be brought to this place as well.
The owner has good marketing strategies that upon arrival guests will be given the chance to pluck the tea leaves and enjoy the plantation. Next thing you know is you'll be invited to the presentation room and free flow of green tea and some snacks. Then the presentation starts...
At night we went to the night market nearby our hotel.
I couldn't remember the place that we stayed because i have short term memory..hehehe
First night market for us and I'm pretty excited to try all their local food.
Da zhang bao xiao zhang - their famous popiah sausage.
This is my favourite charcoal baked pork bun.
In Taiwan, they have the most varieties of sports shoes and their designs are way more updated than in Malaysia.
Day 4
We took the boat to go to the other side of the island to visit the famous temple there. I forgot the history of it because most of the time i don't pay attention to what the tour guide says. ><
Our dinner was in a special old antique cinema during the olden days where the play was acted.
In this place, we can find all the previous antiques as you can see in the photos.
My dad will definitely love this place for sure!
It was a great experience dining in this old cinema. It would be perfect if there's real people acting on stage while we are dining..lol! They only played the 60s movie for us to watch.
Day 5
Pineapple tarts shop. Im not a big fan of pineapple tarts but theirs are really good! Especially the one with egg yolks. I regretted that I bought too little back.
Next destination - Yeh Liu, which is also know as the victoria something..lol forgotten the name.
It was raining that day and the whole place was very muddy. We didn't wanna walk there to take photos.
And it's quite dangerous too coz its slippery.
Then we went to Jiu Fen, it was a wet rainy day and we were all soaked in the rain.
We spotted the best place to hang out there and didn't wanna continue exploring the street.
The best place for coffee while watching the passerby under the umbrellas.
Our tour guide bought the sirih to show us.
Sexy girls on the box to lure people to eat more sirih. I tried and never like it, it tastes weird.
Finally after the whole day soaking in the rain, we reached our luxurious hotel. It is the best hotel in the hot spring area.
You can even get the hot spring water in your own hotel jacuzzi.
Ready to soak in the hot spring pool.
Round two in our own jacuzzi tub.
Blisss *love love love*
Happy girls after soaking ourselves in the hot spring water!
Day 6
Again we were brought to the "con job" shop again, which usually happens only in China but now in Taiwan too.
They have the best marketing strategies to make heaps of profits from selling this animal thingy. Still there are some people who believes in the power of it.
Finally here's the place that I wanna go so badly but I have no idea why its scheduled till the last day of our trip.
XIMENDING!
First purchase was the leather boots. Super in love with it coz its very warm and comfy!
My patient hubby who accompanies me all the time when I'm doing my shopping to ensure the safety of his wife. 100 points for you! *muach*
Must try Ay-Chung Mee Sua!
After our shopping trip, then its time for our company gala dinner. Every bus gotta send reps for performances.
Here's LeiKei and PouChoo.
Hugs and kisses to end my Taiwan trip
xoxo
