I visited their brand new outlet in One-U and got shocked when I saw the long queue of customers waiting to get their seats. Last week we gave up to join the long queue and had our dinner at Dragon-i. This week we decided to give it a try since the queue was that long again. Furthermore I wasn't that hungry yet, still afford to wait. I have no patience in waiting especially when I'm hungry, and I'll get mad/frustrated..hehhe I know it's bad!
We waited for around 15 minutes. I didnt wanna sit at the conveyor belt's seating. I'd prefer the side tables, and we were lucky we got the place. Happy enough. LOL. Before I ordered, I already standby my IXUS. I knew the food was good since I walked into the outlet. I peep what others were having and their rolls caught my attention. Almost every table ordered rolls. I know I must order the rolls, otherwise it doesnt mean anything dining at Sushi Zanmai.
I cant remember whats the name of this roll. But I can tell you their salmon is so damn fresh and the texture is so damn different!
As usual, I never missed my Chawanmushi at every Japanese food restaurant I go. And so far, this is also the best! Both of us love Kappa Maki a lot, so this is also a must item..and the boyfriend's fav inari sushi.
His teriyaki donburi
My Grilled Beef Donburi
Now I grade Sushi King and Sakae Sushi as inferior goods. Sushi Zanmai has fresh salmons and every item in their menu has better grade than SK and SS. Even better, the price are cheaper! But this time we ordered too many items of rice, cant really finish everything. Next time I'm gonna try their udon and other rolls.
I miss the food so much. Sakae Sushi is out of my list now, worst still for Sushi King. Now I have Sushi Zanmai, Kampachi and Rakuzen in my mind. Any other recommendations? Actually I had made reservation for tonight's dinner at Sushi Zanmai. Dinner with Robert and Delia as well. But there's family gathering dinner tonight, so I canceled our reservation. Perhaps next week. If you guys wanna dine there, I suggest that it's best to make reservations one day earlier. They dont allow reservations within 24 hours.
Sticky Honey Stick
Anyone of you remember this?
I think the last time I had this honey stick when I was in primary school. Yesterday when we had dinner with Weijen and Alex at Cheras, there's this lady who came to our table selling the sticky honey stick. I was amazed to see this stick is still available. I bought one for RM2.
It was wrapped in a small plastic wrapper and kinda difficult to remove the plastic from the honey. Then the boyfriend has his first bite and unfortunately the honey sticked on his teeth! Hahha it was so sticky! I dare not bite just in case it sticks on my teeth also.
That's all for now. Sorry I was busy for the whole week and havent got the time to blog. Next entry will be my visit to the Reptiles Show at OU!
P/S: I've enabled friends lock recently due to the numerous unknown readers tracking my blog. For now I'll allow access to everyone, and it is very much appreciated if you can inform me who you are. Thankz! ;)
I'm going back Penang in a short while. Waiting for the boyfriend to return from coaching and we'll drive back to Penang. Supposed to go back by bus, but since we're rushing for tonight's Leadership Course at 8pm, so we have to drive back. Yes it's expensive to drive back if compared by taking bus. No choice! I guess to and fro gonna costs us about RM400! Ouch! That's a lot..sigh!
We're so excited that we're selected to attend to Trainers and Trainees(T&T) program tomorrow. Only 40 members are selected. At first both of us were not selected, but due to some circumstances, they want us to attend as well. I'm very excited! LOL! After the T&T program, we'll have the committee members to evaluate our performance/speech on stage and if we pass, then we'll be awarded with the Trainer badge. Cool!
In fact, last night I started some mini presentation to my members. I taught them on Network Development, which includes the allocation of lines, income system and etc. I was not that nervous since I'm familiar with them. If I were to talk to the crowd, then I'll get nervous..hahha!
Overall I guess it's not bad. At least they can understand what I'm trying to explain. And we've come up with another plan. Everyone has their chance to practice for presentation or explanation of products and plans. Every two weeks we'll have a session of gathering. Everyone will take turn to become the MC and presenter like how we used to have it in OPP.
By doing so, I guess they can train themselves to be brave and confident enough to talk on stage.
Opps it's 2.30pm. I need to pack now! Update more when I'm back on Monday! ; )
Attention! Ms Intoxicated is in her serious mode to learn Photoshop from today onwards. She never succeed to learn photoshop by herself until she got herself a Simplified Photoshop CS2 book from MPH today.
There are too many versions and different publishers for me to choose. I had headache. I even sms-ed Eugene to ask him whether CS2 or CS3 is better, and he said CS3. But I only have CS2 version in the boyfriend's laptop, so I chose CS2.
I never like to read a lot when it comes to practical learning. So I chose the most least words and simplified version to learn. Quick and easy. That's what I want. And I managed to found one, which is good enough for a beginner like me. I always tried to learn Photoshop by playing with the features but I always gave up! I have no patience to try the features one by one. Worst still when I cant get the effects that I want.
This book is really simple to learn.
See how they linked the words to the Photoshop icons . You dont need to read so much of the words, instead just click according to the numberings showed to the icons. Something good for a lazy reader like me. There are other books which are more detailed and complicated, very wordy and headache..A noob like me just need some basic lessons will do. I dont even know how to create new layer and etc. So please dont laugh at my noob works.. ;)
No laughing! I know these photos are stupid enough! But these masterpieces are considered too good for my level okay. I never know how to do all these until I read this book! Damn shy to tell out la.. : /
The boyfriend afraid that I learn everything from this book within few hours and I'll have nothing to do later. But I skipped few lessons because I find them useless to me. I'm keen to learn those photos retouching, layering, or colors management. At least I have something to do now. Otherwise I'll do nothing at home, either sleep to the max, or disturb him studying, or wasting my time playing Gunbound.
RM60.65 worths it all!
Had lunch at Kim Gary @ The Curve today. Supposed to go Santai Restaurant to have my favorite Malay dishes but it was closed. Something is wrong with the piping in Tesco, so they cant cook anything.
It's been quite some time since I last ate in Kim Gary. I'm not a big fan of these kinda food. And I always ordered the same dish whenever I'm dining there. Which is the Mix Set Meal. The boyfriend had Pork Chop Rice Set.
His
Mine
Favorite Borch Soup
Milk Tea
I'm lack of photos to blog. So some photos from Kim Gary is good enough for another entry. Hehhe!
Bosco, the TVB actor, who acts in quite a number of movies. One of his best one is Wars of In Laws, with Myolie Wu and Liza Wang. And I think he's too cute to be the ambassador of Kim Gary! LOL. I havent finish watching Wars of In-Laws 2. Left the DVDs in Penang. That's why I have nothing to do in KL.
Okay I'm gonna continue my Photoshop lesson now. I have fun playing with it till I didnt realize it was already 8.30pm. 3 hours gone after some editing. Chao! ;)
*edited*
I've came out with another 3 pieces of artwork..hehhe!
Is it good? My extracting job is not that perfect. I think experts could easily spot the differences. My boyfriend will go crazy if he sees his photos being edited and got posted in his girlfriend's blog! LOL

Another lesson - Change Eye Colour Digitally
He shall say I look like one of the dolls in Child's Play! LOL
The boyfriend had his Marketing Research finals today. I dropped him in college and had lunch with his sis, Munyee, at my favorite Pork Mee stall nearby college. I used to have my lunch there almost every week, at least once a week. Sometimes when I went back to Penang, I'll miss the noodles. Hehhe!
Hmm I think the noodles dont look yummy here. But it is!
Then we went Subang Parade while waiting for the boyfriend to finish his exam. Wanted to go Sunway Pyramid but I'm afraid that I'll be late to pick the boyfriend. So Subang Parade will do. We finished shopping around 5pm and still have half an hour to wait. So we walked into Dessert's Bar to try out their fancy desserts.
Too many choices and we dont know what to order. I asked the waitress to recommend and she said the fruity pancakes with ice-cream. I tried their ice cream and finally choose strawberry. Oh their strawberry ice cream is so similar to Haagen Dazs! Another alternative for Haagen Dazs..LOL!
This is what we ordered and shared. Hehhe saja wanna try out!
I cant remember what's the name of this pancake dish. The fruits are fresh and I love the ice cream. Nothing special on the pancakes, perhaps because I'm not a big fan of pancakes. Not a big fan of waffles too.
Me and Munyee enjoying at the beautiful red sofa.
I bought a gold satin tube top for only RM24! At Love It Boutique. So damn cheap! And it is beautiful..Now you can hardly find any cheap and beautiful top. Everything has gone from cheap to affordable, from affordable to expensive, and from expensive to "difficult to get it"..ahhaha!
Opps it's a bit crumpled. Just imagine as if it has been ironed..LOL! Nice to pair it with shorts or knee-length pants or skinny jeans.
Bought a Father's Day card from Memory Lane. I might not be in Penang on Father's Day, will just send him a card first. Dinner for him when I'm back.
Get eyebrow razor from Shins. Mine has gone blunt, the end of my razor's life.
Entered into Parkson. The cosmetics section. Let me tell you something. I cant stop myself from buying when I entered into this section. Anything I see, I want. Although it's not in my list or what I need. I want Anna Sui's products. Shu Uemura's cleansing oil. Bobbi Brown's items. Everything! I'm scary! No wonder I have the traits of Big Spender.
We walked past the SK-II counter. I have nothing to buy. Just to find out their latest promotion. Then the Facial Treatment Essence (a.k.a Miracle Water) came into my mind. Should I get it? Should I try it again since everyone said it is so damn good? Should I? Should I?
Then I walked away. After one round, I came back to SK-II counter. I asked for more information regarding my skin condition and what's the full range of products that I need. The sales assistant starts to recommend few items and gave me the list with the price of each item. I told myself perhaps I need a mosturizer or anything that mosturize or improve my skin texture. I think I need the Miracle Water. But what if it shows no result again like last time or what if my skin is immune to it again?
Nevamind. I'm gonna try it again. That's what I was thinking at that time. See how good am I in giving my reason to buy anything.LOL! Bought the Essence to try again. Who knows it'll do miracles to my skin!
Another damage.
I'm hungry now. Need to cook something to eat. The boyfriend is cooking his instant noodles now.
Finally tried Japanese food at Kampachi. It is one of the well-known Japanese restaurant in KL and their most famous branch is located at Equatorial Hotel. Stephanie and Wendy had their most expensive Japanese food at Kampachi, where they ordered a slice of Kobe beef for RM1500! Damn expensive..I cant afford that! And a slice of watermelon for almost RM300 I think. Something like that. Now they have their new branch in Pavilion.
Today I drove to Pavilion alone. The boyfriend stayed at home to prepare for his finals on Monday. I doesnt wanna disturb him, so I decided to go Pavilion to look for Stephanie and Wendy. Oh btw Stephanie is my aunt, my dad's sis, and Wendy is her best friend. I reached Pavilion quite early, around 3pm. Shopped around for a while, waited for Wendy to reach and then we went to Kampachi.
The interior
All sorts of mushrooms
Beef slices
Soft shell crab makimono
Seafood Teppanyaki
Everything is so yummy and delicious! Too bad the boyfriend was not there with us, otherwise he'll know how delicious I meant. But he promised to bring me there again after this exam. They have a wide variety of Japanese food. Perhaps next time I should try their Udon. I miss the soft shell crab makimono. Really crunchy! Their green tea also tastes different. Very special. Perhaps you guys should go try! But it is slightly pricey compared to others. Our meal costs about RM188 including 3 green teas. But it's really worth it!
The Charlie's Angels ;)
Before Kampachi,I went shopping alone to look for facial cleanser. I wanted to go Shins to get the MD Formulation Cleanser but to my surprise, Shins has closed down already! I dont know why. So I walked into Parkson and start to try out the cleanser from different brands like Dior, Kose, Chanel, Shiseido and etc. After trying those different brands, I decided to try Kose White Powder Wash cleanser. It is in powder form and we have to mix with water before applying on the face.
And I bought Kose Clear Lotion as well. My toner is finishing soon. I had tried this Clear Lotion when I was back in Penang. But I didnt get it coz I still have my toner. It's time to get one now. Furthermore, there's promotion for this Clear Lotion. It's only RM59 for 140ml.
The salesgirl recommended me to get this Kose soaking mask. I'll need to use one cap of Clear Lotion and soak the dry mask on the cap. Then open up the mask after 10 minutes of soaking and apply the mask on the face. So the clear lotion has dual purposes, function as toner and mask. And she gave me some free samples, Moisture Skin Repair and Purifying Gel Scrub.
I'm gonna try Kose's range for some time and see its effects on my skin. If it doesnt do any improvement, I think I'm gonna switch back to SK-II. Who knows my skin is not immune to it anymore after using MD Formulation and Kose. Or perhaps go for the DermaK chemical peels.
Girls are always the best customers! They tend to spend on everything, from clothes, make ups, hairs, shoes, bags, skin cares, perfumes, pretty gadgets, to everything! Oh talking bout pretty gadgets, I went to Blue Cube to take a look at Prada Phone. I lost my interest on Prada phone now. No wifi, no 3G, nothing. The only advantage is the brand! Wtf..I'd rather wait for Iphone2.
I'm going to play badminton with the boyfriend tomorrow morning! Wish me luck..LOL!
