Postgraduate Courses

Sent an email to the Senior Advisor of HELP Uni
I was browsing through their Postgraduate Courses
They offered Business courses for Postgraduates..

BUT they require working experience

So I emailed the senior advisor
To ask whether my current working experience for Maxis as their direct agents is considered or not..
In the application forms they require for referrals and I can provide that
I have my seniors in Maxis which could be my referrals..
I hope I could get approval for that

The next intake will be in March
The classes are only on weekends..and weekdays (6.30pm-9.30pm)
That's good..I can still work!
Only 48 hours of seminars and lectures..18 months
And the accessment is 20% of exam, and 80% on assignments

I'm choosing either..
Master of Entrepreneurship or CSU Master of Business
Another one is Master for Business Admin..but NOWAY!
I'm not interested in administration work..
I hate sitting in the office..hahha!

Starhill

Meet up with Weijen and Rachael at Pavilion
Then we went to Starhill for dinner
Had Thai food at MYTHAI by jim thompson
The food wasnt that nice..not the real thai food..hahha!
And it's expensive..

I'd rather go Cempaka for Thai food..yummy!





I love the decor of JW Marriot
So beautiful! The lighting keep changing colours..
Hahha I know I sound sampat..






Alright I gotta stop here
Need to start on marketing plan project
I gotta submit it earlier before I'm off to Bangkok

The boyfriend is going for tournament at UCSI
Wanted to meet up with MeiPoa but she's leaving to Malacca at that time..
And I couldnt make it to meet her earlier
So I'm not following the boyfriend to the tournament anymore..

Another Nightmare..

I failed 2 of my finance papers for mid term
Luckily failed by 1 mark only..otherwise I'm dead
Same case happened again like last semester..LOL

And International Finance Management Test2 (10%) is on the 8th Oct
Exam time is 10am
And I'm still in Bangkok at that time!
So I sent an email to Mr George to asked for supplementary

All he replied me was there is no supplementary paper
What he allowed is..'to bring the finals to 70% instead of 60%'
The 10% comes from the test2 that I've missed
So kind of him! At least he still gives me that 10% chance..hahha!

I need to study real hard for finals
I've already planned my time for finals
Will stop my work after the roadshow in Macfood is done
Itu pun if I get the approval to have roadshow in Macfood
I hope Margaret will approve it..plzzzzz...!
Otherwise my sales will still remain zero this month..cham

Mid Autumn Festival

I didnt go anywhere
Lepak in Alex's house with Robert and Delia
I missed the lantern festival in my taman..

Seeing the kids playing with candles instead of lanterns
That's all..
It's not so happening in KL
I'd prefer those hometown lantern festival
Where there's one bunch of kids gathering with their lanterns walking around the taman
That's what we called mid autumn festive! Hahha..

I was in Mee Jawa before heading to Alex's house
Stolen someone's wireless connection and online there
At least I get to save some money in Mee Jawa
Instead of paying at least 12 bucks just to online in Coffee Bean

Bought it when we went shopping at Pavilion with Weijen and Rachel
Thought of buying few more different colours

But no way!
I'm kinda broke at the moment
Coz I've already invested my savings in shares
The boyfriend helped me to manage it..
Hope so I make some money and invest them in shopping again! Hahha..


I might wanna go Cats Whiskers this weekends
Need to get some shorts for holiday in Bangkok
My shorts are so limited..need to get one or two

Alright I gotta go now
The boyfriend is reaching college soon
He'll picked me and we'll be going for assam laksa!
Craving for quite some time d...hehhe!

Pavilion

The largest shopping mall I guess
Went there last Friday with the boyfriend
To me it is something like Takashimaya or Ngee Ann City in Singapore..
And sooner or later our Bukit Bintang Street gonna turn to Malaysia's version of Orchard Road..LOL!

Too many branded shops in Pavilion!
I dont even recognise some of the brands there
I read from a magazine saying that few of the brands there are first in Malaysia
So it's a bit new to me..




The biggest store in Pavilion is Parkson & Esprit
Esprit has 3 floors!
One is the saloon and kids department, one floor for mens and another floor for ladies
The Esprit saloon is actually Miko Saloon's crew..but the management is by Esprit

But not all outlets are operating
I guess only 30% of the stores there are opened
The rest still under renovation
Hmm..just wait for the grand opening in 2008




And this is J.Co Donuts & Coffee!
Is the interior familiar to you?
Dont it loook like Starbucks??! LOL

Starbucks-look-a-like selling donuts and coffee
Lotsa people queuing for the donuts
Too bad I havent tried it..
Perhaps the next time I go Pavilion ;)



Then we walked over to Dome
The place that we'll never missed whenever we're in Bukit Bintang

No more potato wedges but CAESAR SALAD!
Both of us gonna start a healthy eating habit..hahha!
I really love the caesar salad..fresh and nice! *slurp*



But our healthy diet was abolished when it reached dinner time
We went Cempaka for Thai food
Robert and Delia was there too..4 of us

And see what is so coincidence!



The boyfriend and Robert is in green..me and Delia in black!!
So ngam huh?!
When Robert first saw us, he was laughing there already..

We had baked crabs, ikan panggang, baked prawns, spicy tomyam, petai and vege!
All unhealthy dishes..hahha!

And tonight we'll be going for another dinner.

Sipadan 13-16Sept2007

Hello people!
I'm sorry for not updating for quite some time..hehe!

Quite busy with work lately
Gotta get more sales as more holiday plans are coming
I'm planning too many holidays
As AirAsia is getting cheaper and cheaper, my plans are getting more and mooorrree!

Okay let me start with Sipadan updates

Day 1

Flight from KL to Tawau






Then we took cab to Semporna town
That's the place that we stay

We stayed at Dragon Inn Resort
The chalets are all on the sea..cool!



Our chalet was special
But I'm quite afraid coz it's quite shaky!
Furthermore it rained that night!

I couldnt sleep well
Afraid that the sea water will rise and our chalet got flooded! LOL!




Next..snorkelling time!
The boyfriend went into the sea to get this blue starfish!
It's so beautiful!




We went to this small island (I couldnt remember whats the name)
Before we went, we heard from the locals that this island has lotsa poor ppl..
I didnt expect them to be so poor til I reached the island

They're so pity
My dad, the hero, took photos with them
And the next thing the kids asked was.."Coins/Money!!"
They're poor but SMART okay!

And dad gave them some coins
Mana tau..the kids ran to their kampung and brought all their friends out!

Hahha..
The next thing the hero did was..dipped himself into the sea to avoid that! LOL




We even went to the seaweed plantation
Err..I dont think so it's called seaweed..dunno what's that called!



Dinner Time

We had our meals at this lil island
Restaurant on sea as well..
Lunch and dinner are there..small restaurant but the food was great!

Day 2

Woke up early at 8am
The boatman was already waiting for us at the jetty

We're going Mabul Island
The journey took about 45 minutes.

But the sad thing is...we dont see much fishes
Only so mini mini ones
I guess we went to the wrong place
The boatman is not good enough..hahha!






Anyway we had a lot of fun snorkelling as well
My handsome boyfriend even sunbathed on da speedboat
He sunbathed when he fell asleep during the 45 minutes journey back! LOL

Dad did charity again
He knew the kids only want some money
So he told the kids he dont have any
But he gave them some biscuits and lollipop!

The kids were so damn happy
There's one smart boy even showed us his talents..hahha
He jumped into the sea from the bridge and started singing Malay songs
I think he's cute
So I gave him another extra lollipop..hehe!

Dad was interested with the naked lil boy..
He thinks that he's cute without clothes! LOL





These chalets are in Mabul Island
We just dropped by for snorkelling
Dad loves the place..he collected info on the chalets
He wants to come again

The island is really beautiful
Peace and quiet








We even saw this dog swimming in the sea
Everyone's not curious of fishes but dogs!
And you know what?! The dog can even swim faster than us! LOL

The wind was so strong and you can hardly see their eyes opened ;)




After half day of snorkelling, we had our last meal at Singamata
Check out around 3pm

And we took cab back to Tawau city
The journey is about an hour from Semporna to Tawau
I was so tired..slept the whole journey to Tawau

Reached Tawau about 6pm and check in at Heritage Hotel



Dinner Time

Dad is really good
He did survey on the restaurants nearby Heritage
He asked one uncle,who's selling longan nearby our hotel, bout famous restaurant
And the uncle recommended us Jin Ling Seafood Restaurant nearby the area

We walked there
Just few streets from our hotel
The food was really superb! You can never find that in Peninsular!
And the best thing is..the price is so affordable that it costs only about RM14 per person

Imagine for RM14, we ate all sorts of seafood
Even our Bukit Tambun had to give up!





Day 3

The third day
That's the day everyone's waiting for
We'll have free meals the whole day!

The reporters association, hakka association and the MCA gonna treat us
Thanks to AhHwa for all that!
We even had lunch with the YB of Tawau

And there's one small article of our lunch gathering in Sabah's local newspaper
Not bad huh..macam orang kenamaan aje!

After lunch it's our free and easy time
They're having badminton friendly match at 3pm
So we didnt go anywhere
Dad,me and the boyfriend lepak in our hotel

The boyfriend was busy packing and getting ready for the friendly match
I got nothing to do
So I watched National Geographic channel..damn wuliao!










I love the baby T that Wilson sponsored
Oh dont overlooked my talent..hahha!
I only wear the attire for photo purposes..I'm not involve in the match!
The boyfriend gotta submit report to Wilson..
So I gotta wear as well..hehe!

Our team lost to Tawau
But of course we gotto lose..have to give face to them la..
Hahha I know its lame but that's the fact!

Dinner at Jin Ling Restaurant again

I think I left out some of the dishes while busy eating
The crabs was delicious
I couldnt stop eating..hahha! I know I'm putting on weight!

After that we went karaoke
The karaoke there is quite different from ours
They dont have rooms for each group
It's open karaoke..you sing and everyone listens!
I dont really dare to sing..hahha! But I did la..only few songs





The place looks a bit like clubbing..LOL
I couldnt imagine going to clubbing with my dad! Hahha..

Day 4

Time to fly back
Our flight back to KL is 10.30am
Woke up around 8.30am and took cab to Tawau airport




Weijen said the nasi lemak on board is good
So I ordered one to try
RM7 per pack..
And it's not bad! Try it the next time you're on board..





But dont expect it to be as tempting as the menu shows
It's some sort like simple type of nasi lemak bungkus
But the curry chicken is best!

Hmm..it's quite a long post
Actually I wanted to blog bout Sipadan trip separately
But since I have time now, so I just blogged all..



We really had a wonderful trip..looking forward for another Sipadan trip
Me and the boyfriend are deciding whether to go scuba diving course
So that we can dive the next time we're going Sipadan..;)

To Go Or Not To Go?

I'm confused now
The boyfriend, his partner and Ah Keong going Macau,HK and Guangzhou on Jan

Actually I decided to go with my sis
But we cancelled the sisterly trip
Coz we'd prefer to go on August
That's the time we can go for better shopping

Now I feel like going
Although I know there's nothing to shop during that time
The flight tickets is still the same price
Around RM490 to and fro..

Should I go with them?
But the boyfriend doesnt welcome me ;(
Coz he said it'll be troublesome when they go Guangzhou..

I need to walk for a long journey with the guys
And they might stay in budget hotel or motel..

Isk! I still can take that!
I wanna go..!
Nvm nvm i'll decide bout it later..

For now..the Bangkok trip is just around the corner
And I think Singapore trip on December is also confirmed

Many plans coming for next year
I'll start planning for the entire trip..hahha!
Dad wants to go Bali..so will be planning for one..hehhe!

Oh ya..I'm going Pavillion shopping mall tomorrow! Yay!
